Human beings sure are hard to satisfy. Stay too near mrt, complain noisy, stay too far mrt, complain transport not convenient. !! My unit is on #25, blk 91. Can hear the mrt sound but like what jule say, it is not that obvious once u r in the house. My previous hse was on #02, facing a main road with 1 pri sch, 1 sec sch and 1 jc along the same stretch of road. So every morning is like a automtic wake up call with all the human and road traffic from 6am onwards. The sound from the mrt is really nothing, u will get used to it.

Sat soccer nites also "no business"

Ya, just back from BKK and was told by a guide that the place is closing down end of this month. Did not ask where the shops are moving to thou.

The one near the interchange. Bar chor mee one also can but most stalls are close in the day, more a dinner and supper place if you plan to go there. Hawker centre usually crowded, unless u go during non-peak hrs, but variety may be limited also.

Lagoon as in East Coast? Food so so and if it rains, hard to get a seat. Mayb can try Bedok or Old Airport Road.

HDB toilet is only so big. Either open door see WC or open door see sink, depending on layout. And most people would have a mirror above the sink. Me not really pantang, so no problem with a mirror facing toilet door.

Prefer to be on sunday PM cos sat will usually be out. Or maybe can have soccer nights on sat if most cannot make it for THUM. Of course, those not watching soccer can also join in.
