I am sure Jonathan will do a good job even though he is leaving, he is a very responsible ID. Till today, he still answers my call and help me thinks of some ideas despite his busy schedule. The more he will help you since he is still handling your project, no worry lah

To All Jonathan's fans, One sad news to share with all of you.................our dearest Jonathan will be giving up his fantastic career to pursue his wish to be a Pastor at the end of this month. He will only be working part-time for EI while he is studying for the course to become a Pastor. I know some of us will feel that it is a pity he is giving up his career at this point, I kind of think this is the beginning of his career peak. I am glad that my place is part of his memorable masterpiece before he is "absent" from this industry. My place will be featured on Home & Decor in July and this probably is the first time for Jonathan and EI (???), I am glad it turns out to be a memorable masterpiece for you too. When Jonathan was working on my house design, I kept teasing him that it is going to be his masterpiece for the year. I didn't know he already plan to become a Pastor one day and it actually came soon after my house was completed in Feb. This may be his last masterpiece actually Jonathan, we wish you all the best and we are sure you will be blessed in other ways. As I told you when I first heard about your decision, you have made a selfless and noble decision. Not everyone can give up everything (I heard you are even going to give up your car?) to serve the community. You are very lucky to have such a understanding family that supports your decision too. Hey, I am still waiting to meet them ok. Now the more I think of it, I really feel that you are God sent to help me complete my dream home and most importantly help me to "manage" my spendings Take care

Their carpentry work is very good, their carpenters are very professional in their work. EI actually has their own workshop to do their carpentry work so they have better control over the quality. The laminate plays an important part too, you can ask your ID for diff price range laminates to compare. Jonathan who is my ID has been very helpful, he even brought me to the laminate shops to look at the laminate sample in bigger piece so that it helps me to visualise the overall effect.

Glass one should be more expensive than stainless steel if it is tempered glass. It is important to note the thickness of the tempered glass used for the cooking area too. I beleive all tempered glass has a "tempered glass" sign along the side of the glass panel. My friend had changed her "tempered glass" backsplash twice within 6 months due to cracks. The contractor insisted it is tempered glass the first time it cracked but the glass were shattered all over the place when it happened, then the contractor changed it and my friend was told it is tempered glass again. The second time when it happened, the glass did not shattered but there is a big crack line. Both occassions when it happened, she is only doing normal cooking.

It has been a long time since I last visited this web site. When I saw someone asking anyone used Earnest Interior before in Dec 2005, I told Jonathan about it. Apparently, their clients are mostly referrals from words of mouth so not really the internet people lah. This is probably how this web site was introduced to EI and they start reading how people commented on their services. I was too lazy to write any comments even though I am very happy with EI service but after reading some of the comments today, they praised Benedict so much like he is the saviour so I must compliment my ID too. Didn't know Jonathan is also so hot these days My ID is Jonathan Liew, a very nice, practical, responsible and sincere guy. After spending 4 months to meet up with 15 over IDs, finally I decided to work with Jonathan since I need someone who is practical and sincere. When I am on long business trips or vacations, I actually leave everything to Jonathan to manage for me and no headache when I am back from the trips too. My house design is Classic European, to be specific is French so not many IDs know what exactly I want but Jonathan has all the ideas. When I point him to some web sites to look at the feel of what I want, he can get it and the end results are always better than my expectations. No IDs are perfect, they won't be able to read our minds so we need to make sure we communicate what we prefer to see or achieve to them and agree on the ideas. If they cannot visualise, send them pictures of similar designs and this will help. Jonathan and I share one common snapfish account, he can see all the pictures I had taken for things I fancy or bought and we can figure out how to put them in all the little corners. The workmanship from EI is good too but according to my friends (they attend housewarming parties all the time), EI standard is considered very good. Their workers are very dedicated and helpful, I still remember one of their worker spent half a day painting the wood motifs on the display cabinets to make sure they are close to my off the shelf dining set design. If anyone asks me for ID referral, I will definitely recommend Jonathan and Earnest Interior. Not only I am happy with them, even my curtain and furniture shop owners sing praises for him. His design makes me feel so proud of my house, I feel great when people start taking pictures of the design when they come for my housewarming :-) Well done, Jonathan!
