ya!! same here... seems like there are spies around.. i threw away my old vacumm cleaner by the dustbin... less than half an hour.. its gone! precisely!! it is VERY noisy... after one theme song... another come along... i confirm wake up loh is there any way we can do to reduce this??! complain to town council?? hahaha...

Mine is not road noise... is the garung kuni men!! i never know there are so many garung kuni men in my estate... and they came at staggered timings.. from as early as 9am... i really feel like screaming at them.... cant sleep late on weekends because of them...

sorry for not being very clear... just found out that the wheels are known as castors?? ya.. the wheels cannot rotate easily... dun understand why... but my sister's can move smoothly... does it help if we change the castors???

i dun have closet outside the flat.. i put them in my kitchen.. the column to hide the pipings... but i did not keep all... my ID gave me quite a lot.. i just picked the nicest and scratch-free tiles and stuffed watever i can in the column... the rest i returned to my ID... limited storage space mah...

how you know there are money plants?? there are still other types of plants... worse is... she also put her pots of plants at the side of the corridor... hers corner flat nearest to the lift mah... you know.. the lift landing usually has space... kids usually like to play in the open area outside lift landing... the entire place is full with her pots loh!! reading mace's post.. i think this is really a fire hazard... imagine if that side caught fire, i will be buried within the forest... how to escape beyond a jungle??? so glad i am out of tat place now... haiz...

i am coming to my 9th year of work in my company... oredi feel very bored... wanted to try another job... to get out of my comfort zone... but like applefreak... the thot of going for interviews made me sianz oredi... and the thot of socialising and get-to-know new colleagues... haiz... tiring... too anti-social.. haha.. lin_stapler, i also waiting for head hunters to look for me... save efforts... any headhunters here... two potential candidates...

went taka on sat to get those traditional type of mooncakes... finally decided on Si Chuan Dou Hua Restaurant's.... not bad... not very sweet too.... actually, if wanna get no sugar mooncake.. can try Harbour City.. they have... i still prefer snowskin mooncake... and if you like durian snowskin.. i can recommend a neighbourhood bakery who makes them.. cheap and nice... real durian... we order from them every year.. its at Depot Road... called Ikada Bakery... they have a few new flavours... and one of them which i also find it nice is blueberry cheese mooncake...

agree! its individual habits... my previous neighbour who is a chinese... my goodness... i really dunno wat she has at home cos she's owae very secretive... close the door whenever we pass by... it was intentional cos the door was open when we were far away.. then when she sees us, she close the door... anyway, the fact is there was once there were tens of dead cockroaches along the corridor... much of them near her doorstep loh... once in a while, there will be a strayed cockroach into my flat... really irky loh... i oredi almost on the verge to go and demand an explanation from her liao... i ren... cos dun wanna strain neighbours r/p mah... then she has an habit to grow plants outside... her plants 'grew'... erm... let me describe my old place first.. from the lift, you need to bypass her unit (nearest to the lift), then another unit.. then to my place... there is another corner flat besides me... altogether 4 flats.... her plants oredi stretches to my neighbour unit loh... but the old lady is quite nice.. never complain.. if it's me.. i sure .... the plants not mega pretty somemore... can you imagine..... my corner flat unit was occupied by a malay family.. just moved in not long.. they also started to grow plants... owae telling my frens.. you come my house, need to enter a jungle... then you will see a garden... my place is inbetween the jungle and the garden.... anyway, i moved out of that place liao... just went back to collect letters last weekend and guess wat.. the jungle has 'grew' again!!

i am so glad that my new neighbours are ok... actually for me, i only have one close neighbour... cos the lift is in between 4 units... so me and my neighbour.. and another side, 2 more neighbours... the other side, there is a malay family.. have some plants and kid's bicycle outside... but quite clean and neat.. not those messy type.. still okie... during our reno, i oredi observed that there are some bicycles.. those kids' type, locked outside my flat... was wondering who 'parked' the bicycles at my 'territory' then i realised its the malay family as they auto move them away to their side when they saw that our reno are almost done... very zi dong... my only neighbour also very clean... i was cleaning up our place and washing the corridor on the first sat we moved in, she came out and talked to me... said she's afraid that she will dirty our urn while washing the floor... you know.. those big red urns to burn insense papers?? cos my dad put it beside our door but near their side... i quickly apologised and said will move it away... come to think of it.. think she's trying to be tactful as wat some suggested here... but no conflicts lah... they clean the corridor every weekend... people who keep their place clean.... in another perspective, probably, sometimes need to communicate with the neighbours.. cos like my case, i really dun know they are bothered with the urn... only when they told me that they wanna wash the foor but scare will splash water on it... then i realised...

yes.. its limited to 3 bulky items per household... guess mostly for those moving out... who need help with disposing the wardrobe, TV console etc.... my dad actually ask the Bungla to help move extra stuff... just pay a bit kopi $...

there are 2 shops selling altars at rochor centre.. i got mine there... quite cheap and nice... and go and see... if you have more budget to spend, the shop besides Guan Yin Temple at Rochor also have.. but think they import from Taiwan or sth... mega exp...

for 2 bedrooms mah... we grab the deal at the last 1 hour... singnet gives acer desktop.. the slim slim one... but its not only on the last day.. it was advertised on the papers for a few days.. btw, if add another $400+ , can upgrade to get a acer laptop .. was contemplated to get this deal or the starhub's hubstation.. in the end, decided this is more suitable for me cos i wanna to get a desktop.. compared to the price acer offered, its quite a good deal... me too!! but that day, i oredi burnt my pocket deep deep... need along long time to recover.... the dec SITEX better dun go liao...
