u guys know if bras basah gt any printing services to do those magazine style printing or not ?

i'm a malay so gonna do it typical malay style - under void deck. heh. bt FH's one will be almost similar to the chinese style. he's doing at at Malay Village. thanks gumbokins ! hehe ! i like the prep work for both. but hor, fr reno easier to see all the work. can see and touch as it goes along. bt for wedding, everything culminates to one big day. if go wrong, that's it lor... i very sian to retell story liao hahha ! it's my bad experience with a contractor. u can read more on my reno blog nw, me just looking forward towards the future ! bt still nervous.. haha

i haven ROM yet.. the ROM and wedding is just 1 day apart.. so a bit nervous ba Hmm.. planning the wedding dun say liao. I nt sure which is worse.. doing the reno or planning the wedding..

The other day I couldn't sleep thinking abt the wedding and the future. One thing led to one another and I kept thinking that this is the guy that I will be spending the rest of my life with. And the rest of my life is a looooong time (God-willing). Did any of you have pre-wedding jitters ? How do u go about keeping urself calm on the big day ?

hmm.. realli ah ? so far i use elmark no issue. i bought direct from the elmark warehouse. when they were doing the setup for me, i did hear some noises and of course gt worried. the nice techs actually helped me resolve the issue in 2 of their fan until i was satisfied. so far so good. *cross fingers!*

Can someone advise on an estimate pricing for a 2 and 3 seater sofa at OM ? I like some of their designs and also considering Barang Barang. But need to wait for sale. Wonder when the end-year sales are coming ? !!

FH's flat had a leaking toilet when he did hacking works. He had to bear half while downstairs also bear half. But i also have another friend whose room ceiling started to show the water marks due to upstairs hacking. but heard from him that the neighbours upstairs refuse to bear the costs. then he LL have to bear with it. so i also dunno which is rite. maybe can check with your town council and get someone to come down and review the situation

Warrior88.... u realli sound like my FH lor. He has similar philosophy to u. Even those who backstab him, he will still like treat like fren, still talk drink kopi or even play bowling. I used to work with him, that's why i know. bt my attitude is diff, i'll just do my things. i sometimes dun understand FH's good attitude against those who bring him down. for me, i will just ignore them unless it's about work. realli can't stand those ppl. bt one thing i learn is try nt to get emotions in the way of work. i think guys are better at this. as a woman, i sometimes have trouble with this myself so i always try to tink : what would a guy in my position do ? haha... very sexist against my own kind.. kekeke ! no offence against the ladies hor cos i am one too.

it's done. the ID has handed over the flat. now, have to clean up. will be sooooo tiring ! and while mine has completed, mum has decided to do a revamp of our current house kitchen and 2 bathrooms. both are in pretty bad state so i thought of hacking the tiles. but while i am familiar with pricing for new houses, i have no idea in regards to costing for a resale flat. hope u guys can give me some pointers on what are the differences and what i should take note of as well as in terms of costing. kam sia !

eeee dreamgirl ! so scary ! i agree that hotel rooms are very very scary. if i bunk in a hotel room with anyone (friend or FH) i will always tell them to never ever leave me alone in the room without telling me. i hate being in hotel rooms alone !

i am also using laminated flooring for whole house. for me, my only worry all the time is water water water. in fact, my friend who helped me move out spilled a cup of water on the flooring. that made me kancheong abit. everytime gt a bit of water, i will quickly wipe. if u tink u're ok with this scenario... should be ok ba. good luck !

hey guys. quick check... is the hob suppose to be moveable ? right now there;s no silicon ard my hob so it can be moved. my question is: is this the standard practise ? ID says that if put silicon might cause the solid surface to crack in future. how true is that ? hope u can help. thanks !

usually mothers is the "bad guy". so cannot help it. bt i agree with homeowner, stashing the present somewhere when the kid has achieved something in school or helped out with housework will motivate him. bt also must sit dwn and talk to ur hubby abt disciplining the kid and work out a compromise on both sides. maybe relax u rules a little (or on certain days like weekends) but he must also step up a little. this is just my less than 2 cents view since i dun have a kid. but i have 2 nephews ! hehehe !

then maybe just wan to avoid problems at home. last time i also like that, gt problems then like to stay in office.
