oh yea ! that time when we went down to the previous home expo, we did see barang barang interiors. initially thot that they selling barang barang stuff, but turns out they are an ID. the IDs (or are they sales people ?) seems quite young and hip too

same as me.. my stretch there all quite friendly. when we first few days keep going to the house, they popped by to say hello. one of the neighbours even invited us to his house to take a look around. but there's 2 opposite us always close door one. never see their faces before...

haha ! so farnie ! i nt sure hw i feel leh.. cos sometimes scared i make the wrong decision for the tiles.. maybe design wrong or colour wrong.. i scared then everything is tgt , my colour combo or design combo realli sucks !

wah ! nvr thot of that ! we just asked HDB to change the windows panes to new ones..

woah ! didn't know that at all... should have bought the tiles myself had I known. but how would i know hw much tiles is needed ? skali buy too much or too little... die die, sure die...

FH smsed the ID yesterday and tiling works will start on Tuesday. Gonna go down to check it out on Thursday !

our ID also told us that we need to bear the haulage costs ourselves. and we were also informed abt it by 2 other IDs when sourcing out for quotes.. so I think it's sorta SOP

yea i saw the news ! FH and i were also speculating on who the company might be... we thot it could be one of the IDs that we approached. but cannot be sure so i'd rather not name here...

I also dunno how eh.. i tried that too but it fails as well...

oh yea ! totally forgot about that ! something for me to look forward to ! yah.. i also keep telling myself that. if it's meant to be mine, it will be there lor. FH says that there are always nicer things abound. but sometimes really heart broken lor when the thing not there...

haha ! dun tink so lah.. more updates: as expected, nothing was done today.. because i am such a nice person, i shall wait until next week Tuesday. there better be some tiles or someone is going to get HDB came down today and changed the rusty window handles. then they fixed my balcony door but not before banging it really really hard a FEW times. i was telling FH that I hope that they break it so that i'll get a new one.. apparently, there was a small gap and the 'boss' of the guys there took out the whole door, duno knock knock screw screw wat then fix liao.. hehe also went down to Lim's @ Holland V. the sofa set we're eyeing is still there but the nice mosaic dining table is no longer there ! boo hoo ! also saw some nice moroccan lamps which looks really good. almost tempted to buy leh.. but i decided that maybe we can use the money else where. anyway, we have both decided to buy other furnitures after the wedding. dunno if the things i wan still there or not eh..

i bought Simmons lor ! that's why must try until like that... cos i also remember the commercial ! haha ! we tested Sealy at Harvey Norman Millenia the other time which was quite good. During Expo also tried the Serta (actually I just like the cute sheep lah...) and the Simmons. All is comfortable and we really love one from Serta but then when move, the other person can really feel leh. I bought the Simmons Charleston Beautyrest with Bedframe from Ackerman. When jump quite hard of cos can feel but when toss and turn, very little to almost nothing depending on the movements. It's good for me lah cos FH always sleep later than I do and I dun wan to be disturbed. this one also I nt sure. Maybe if buy with bedframe can get better price.

hello there. i used to be in a similar situation to urs. except that I have not ROM, only engaged. (note: ROM to me means legally married, engaged as in whole family knows u are getting married and have engagement ring) i thot hard about it. many tears cried and many threats were made to me. but my decision was made on one single factor: If I were to marry A, I will not be happy for the rest of my life. And I only have myself to blame. and now, I am getting married to B. I have never regretted my decision once. all i hope is you will think about it long and hard. not just for now, but also the future. not just for A, for B, for family, relatives or friends, but also for YOURSELF. i wish u all the best in ur decision no matter what it is.

not really ah i tink. it all depends on ur needs. and the brand also .. hehe ! yah, u must lie down for a few minutes to see the difference. 30 mins too long lah.. where gt such time.. for me, i bought my mattress and bedframe during the expo. wah ! try so many "positions" eh .. i sleep on bed then FH jump in . then FH sleep on bed then i jump in . also got we both on bed then one person keep tossing and turning see whether the other person can feel or not. haha !

thanks for stopping by Linda ! mine is on 24th floor anyway, even if urs dun have balcony or svc. balcony, surely other areas are bigger. all this are just gimmick lah.. hehe ! here less, but others are more. HDB nt so good give everything big big.. hehe ! haha ! that's a good theory that i didn't think of ! i foresee the guest bedroom will be utilized alot by both our parents ! hehe !

yup ! me agree with HiroX. just go along that stretch and tryout the beds. dun let them push u into buying. this investment might be even be more long lasting than a reno !

some updates: on labour day, my mum surprised FH and me by informing us that she has bought a bedroom set for the guest room. we were speechless . as much as i appreciated the gift, i spent 2 sleepless nights wondering how it will all fit into the theme of my home. anyway, went down yesterday to get the measurements. saw that it wasnt as bad as i thought and if only it was a lighter colour. oh well, we gotta make do wif it. tiling works are suppose to start today and pretty excited over that . will go dn tomorrow to see if anything is being done. but why do i get the feeling that's it's going to be delayed till monday... hmmm...

where did u buy it from ? same place also ? yup.. it's the same model.. actually initially saw other brands one at IMM but expensive eh. gt $400++. then we went to chan huat and saw a similar one but still $300+.
