My "new" old place is a 31yr old re-purchased flat ... 4 room and a tiny tiny 82sqm only... Its got to undergo quite a major overhaul, knocking down walls and pulling up floor tiles... I tink another kind of gals we have to be carefu abt is the kind that use reverse psychology.. My personal experience 3 yrs ago is with this gal that keep saying to my fiance that she has been betrayed by frens and loved ones until she don't believe in love and friendship.. even after "an unhappy incident that i found out", I told my fiance never to contact her again, she still try to turn ard and act innocent... saying that she is disappoint in my fiance for giving up on their friendship because of me... ... and until recently, I found out that she sometimes will msn him...

Anyway, no news for any interior upgrade since LUP only approve last month.. so mayb another 2-3 years i suspect..

Yar, I also tink its best if you wait for the upgrading to be completed.. That means yours now have the extra service yard?? Mine only lift upgrading.. haven't move in yet got to come out more money liao.. but cannot wait for the interior upgrade (dunno when also).. so still going to reno my toilet.. cannot live with the current state,so awful

How about changing the position of the hinge to the left side... Instead of the door opening from the left, change so that it opens from the right. This will prevent the door from banging into the other one...But it might be a tight squeeze.. You could do it for both doors (change the hinge side) so that you have a wider excess to the corner cabinet??

I intend to do that for my home too.. but mine will act like a TV feature wall on its own as it will separate my bedroom and the living room.. Quote was about 1K++

Mine is also old unit.. 30yr old liao.. They did not say anything about re-wire the whole unit.. I thot this was a cost that I had to bear myself.. I have not collected my keys... do you think I still can raise this to HDB since there are some other defects they are checking for me??? Re-wire and replaster for whole unit would easily cost me another 4K+ leh.. Actually I not so concern about re-plaster.. re-wire more impt..

Vanny, how come can re-plaster one?? Is your walls like the old ones with the brick outlines?? Cos mine is like that and very bumpy in alot of places .. But HDB say cannot replaster for me.. How did you negotiate with them?? Can advise??

What upgrade?? You mean your estate is going to be upgraded?? Isn't that good? Mine is also just apporved for lift upgrading so have to pay also..

Yar, its quite small but for 2 of us, its fine...Its quite a smooth ride but well, its still an old car lor.. My FH and I felt that since we dun have kids, best to get this kind of car while we still can... .. my mum calls it a selfish car.. haha That a very nice car... love the solid look..
