Just bought this Samsung LCD TV yesterday ..Its an old model (even I didn't hear of it) .. but it was cheap so HB got it... Initially we were settling for 32" then felt abit small so upgrade to 37" ... end up now buy 40"... Its black with piano finish.. specs also quite average and comparable.. Quite a good buy though for less than 2K... Samsung LA40M61B

After a long 4 months from the time we bought our new home, we have finally settled on our ID!! So happy and really hope he does a great job!! Renovations will start on 3rd July! Can't wait to see the transformation..

Actually I saw one mirror at Courts.. the material is like PVC kind but the design is something like snake skin i tink.. not bad.. comes in brown and dark purple colour and 2 different sizes (big one almost same size as the IKEA one but thicker.... f I dun remember wrongly, its cheaper than IKEA one.. can go check it out if u dun mind the material..

Ya, not suede but also dunno wat material .. .. not cheap leh.. so sad lor. Ikea stuff not lasting but very nice and some quite affordable.. then i cheapskate hor, always like to go back there..

Hi Linda, saw the mirror that you bought from IKEA... Isit a brown one with suede material?? Just I bought that one 1year plus ago... If thats the same one, you must be careful of the material.. cos it will start to peel off due to moisture n heat... Somemore you are hanging yours in the toilet. Mine is kept in the bedroom and leaning against the wall.. after some time, I moved it and found that it peeled and left a whole line of brown suede against the wall.. also when cleaning, cannot use a cloth and just wipe over... the suede will start to clump and peel off too... !! quite troublesome, so now I can only dust it lightly...

I just did mine yesterday.. When open door, throw a handful of rice/salt into the middle of your house.. then follow the left side of the wall (left wall when facing out the door) and continue throwing rice/salt at all the corners.. follow this wall into all rooms and corners... Once you reach the main door again, throw the remaining rice/salt outside your door.. And leave the house..... For the pineapple, think u can do it before everything and just roll into the centre of hall.. Just my 2cents worth... I read this from a fengshui book... Maybe the more senior forummers can help you more..

I have a question, hope someone can help me... Can anyone advise me what are the necessary things or steps to take when opening the door after I get my keys?? Actually I already went to the flat twice during inspection, does that mean I do not need to sprinkle salt and bring fruits again?? My MIL says we need to throw some oranges in when we open the door.. Another person told me to sprinkle rice or salt when we enter and leave the fruits in the centre of the living room.. Place coins in every corner and leave the flat for 3 days.. Very confused now as so many different suggestions... help...
