  1. Lucky you! I would have bought the oven if I knew....

  3. Wah quite chio looking leh.. Wonder if it's available in white? :notti:
  4. But no leh.. Hers is also not some 3, 4 , 5 big antennas router.. In fact it's those 2 in 1 built-in router with modem provided by the service provider..
  5. How did you get to know about this surprise sale? Must sign up for news feed somewhere?
  6. Yours is also the 3 big antenna Asus router? Actually it's quite weird.. I live in a EM now and my router is on 2nd floor. But I can't get signal in my kitchen or balcony. But on the other hand, I can get signal from my friend's router while waiting at the bus stop.. And she stays at 12th floor!!!! :jawdrop: Why ah why ah......
  7. Wahahahahahahaha Good point Kim! Now I feel so much better... Or not...
  8. Oh ya I forgot totally about the power point!!!! Ya if I remember correctly, your NAS was in your study when we went over. So wondering how you connect to the router
  9. Ong, does it help if the door is changed to glass instead? Better than having opaque doors? Heh I'm asking for my living room cabinet where I'm going to house the modem and maybe the router. But having read what you and dragonnite said about it's better to have the router wall mounted as high as possible, I'm toying with the idea of mounting it on the divider/partition beside my study table. Here's my floor plan again So I'm thinking of mounting it here.... This way I don't need to have a glass door (if that helps in improving wifi signals) out of nowhere on the cabinet... And I can get stronger wifi signals. Just concerned if it will be unsightly to mount a router like that. Looks like what most hotels are doing nowadays....
  10. Wah you climbed so high to take picture ah! hahaha. There's a cable labelled "Cat6 (out) to NAS", where do you place your NAS?
  11. AH!!!!!! That's a big difference! Anymore of these sales coming up?? *keeps fingers crossed*
  12. I'm also looking at Onkyo! My friend passed me a Harvey Norman contact who he said can allow u to test drive.. I have not contacted him yet though. Let me know if you want the contact

  21. Yeah I think so! If I'm not wrong, you bought it at $2299 last year March right? Drop only $300 in a year.. doesn't seem a lot to me
  22. Popped by Expo for the electronics fair last Sunday to have a look at the TVs. We have decided on a 55" TV and now is just deciding which brand and model. Personally I have a liking for Samsung TVs. There are so many brands and models I dunno what to choose!! Some of the price tags I snapped: From what I understand, the latest is the 8000 series but that's too pricey. And I don't think I can tell the difference between a 8000 and 6000 if I don't see them side by side. Anyone knows why 7500 was cheaper than than 6800....? Any views on Samsung TVs? Which model to get? Or some other brands which are value for money?
  23. I chose the cheapest for all my purchases cos am not in a hurry
  24. The currency is rmb aka Chinese yuan.
