  2. Can feel your heart pain with the scratched door but it is so hard to punish the furkid. Love is unconditional... Anyways seems that you've bought a purple bed to match his purple collar
  3. Considered but thought of saving some cash for other stuff and use those vouchers before they expire
  4. $279 at ntuc also which we don't mind getting it there as we have ntuc vouchers

GU10 stuff in S'pore is SO hard to find) Today will do another round of online purchases on TB (telephone) and Amazon (kitchen stuff). Online shopping is so FUN
  7. War zone pix still... Cementing (as of yesterday noon) completed for the 2 bathrooms only! But tiles are here and meeting tiler tomorrow (only if Alan doesn't change the date again) Some of the tiles to be used. Laminate flooring not sent yet by Makanology, on Flickr
  8. Haha perhaps should rename them as Cookies and Cream. Both are so beautiful!
  9. Share some pix of your latest tile selection
  10. Nice basin! I saw a floral design from Baron brand here but i think it costs close to $100.
  11. Don't have the terminal point at all. Luckily M1 is installing it for free purely for cost savings reasons, we opted for M1 200mbps promo.
  12. @swaskie we are only left with these to buy: kitchen track lights, Ikea Billy cupboard, Expedit shelf, handles for all cupboards, telephone, ladle, wine opener, pepper/salt/spice jars containers, butter knife (some will be from Amazon), 早安君子hand towels, rugs, mop, ladder, Philips Airfryer. Haha that's probably all! Even cleaning detergents - my colleague sponsored a set of Amway ones already!
  13. War zone pix Cement goes next ... by Makanology, on Flickr Haven't really gone down to see as reckon there will be nothing much to take. So might as well go buy all the stuff including kitchen wares & accessories. We have even booked our open net installation date & package! Talking about kiasuism lol
  14. Why are you re-selecting your tiles? For which room?
  15. Looks like a good deal but wouldn't the shipping be a killer?
  16. Makan & Mr E busy lah, busy burning BIG holes in our pockets lol Our contractor seems to be taking his own sweet time; cementing only started today But we have finished buying most of our things already. Now left only sofa measurements to inform Kim Hwee Upholstery (thanx to Bleucheeze) and to buy kitchen track lights @ Brilliant Source tomorrow. Next week, our TB loot (bed, bulbs, tiles, shower sets, lamps etc) will be here and so will our downlights & switches from Australia. Yay! But boo to our 'take his own time' contractor
  17. Hi here is what we know so far:Blk 155 West Ave 6 hawker centre - fantastic hokkien mee! Blk 109 West Ave 6 - roast meat not bad (stall has hanging red lanterns outside) Blk 132 West Ave 6 - known for the fish porridge, duck meat & Kway chap (open night till morning) Blk 374 St 31 - Alif Restaurant (opens till wee hours on weekend mornings) - heard nasi lemak not bad but Malay-style one Blk 347 St 34 - 24hour teochew muay (Ding Xiang teochew muay with a huge variety of dishes and nice white fish cake and bak chor) Also Blk 347 St 34 - same coffee shop as teochew muay with good value western food stall (decent portion). The carrot cake stall there is quite decent which allows yin-yang orders. That's all Mr E can think about it so far as he used to live in BB during his childhood-youth days. Enjoy discovering & feasting
  18. Hope all goes well for you. To spray paint the gate shouldn't take too long I guess. When is your toilet glass door coming in? And when are you shifting in? Share more pictures
  19. Wow sounds like you have gotten some great stuff... Imagine buying all these here instead?
  20. Did you order more stuff from TB or just the mirror and tap to 'test' first? Our TB loot is arriving next week and terribly excited. We kinda went overboard & spent over S$1500...
  21. Welcome to RT & good luck to your renovation!
