Hi no need to meet them. If you are transferring the SP account, then it is quite straight forward and SP need not go to your place to switch the utilities on. That is if your seller hasn't already terminate his SP account totally. Otherwise SP has to meet you or your family member at your new place to switch the utilities on.

Hi jus4fun, I think our a/c not as power as yours. Don't know the model but I recall it is 3 units of 9000btu, also completely new installation with upgraded insulation cabling or something. Think Aron on RT is having a promo for this at $2899.

hi vanessa, sorry we do not have spare pieces for this we are not using them as actual switches as the internal wiring is of very poor quality and runs a high risk of electrocution! so we are converting them as art pieces instead.

hi jay, we bought most of our electrical appliances including the aircon from a family-run shop @ Jalan Kayu, Unilite. Not sure who they outsourced the aircon portion to but we will find out next Wed. We paid $2.8k for a Starmex system 3 inverter which we think is a fair price. Overall we got pretty good rates for our other electrical stuff bought over there.

Hi jay, wet works will be completed for sure, wiring, plumbing, painting, aircon installation , a doors and windows also. So left with kitchen cabinet which no rush for that. All our other cabinets, wardrobes will be from Ikea our best Swedish friend

Hi swaskie, renovation now smoother by a bit cos Mr E has been stationed there everyday to monitor lol Yesterday he met up with Alan and talked some things out. Now on turbo mood but kitchen cabinet will only be done after we move in. No rush on that; doubt first few weeks will get to cook cos so much cleaning & unpacking & DIY projects! The carpet - sure your mom so nice! let's meet up!

Nonya food doesn't seem easy to cook. Mr E claims he can cook curry though in our 3 years of dating, I still haven't tried it yet *hint* so hope this will be the first dish he cooks for me in this woody American-style kitchen.

Ah Meng asked Mr E which grout color we want for the kitchen flooring - black or white? He looked at him and said "err our tiles are of both colors so either one is fine". Ah Meng replied "oh ya, let's do black grout lines". Can't wait to see the end result when the grouts are filled up for wall & floor. Tomorrow they will 'attack' the bathroom flooring and hopefully we can see the transformation soon
