  1. Yes and you will miss the renovation journey! How I wish Singapore property is more affordable
  2. Haha it is ok to have a lot of stuff for the new house as your place is bigger than most on RT. Don't worry, once you have settled in, it is natural to start to look for decorative stuff. This is exactly what we are doing now. Couldn't stop surfing TB and Amazon to buy knick-knacks! And we are still heading to Ikea to look-see-control-but still buy once in awhile. Have fun
  3. Terrariums add a lot of soft touches to the house but alas, I have killed several can never figure out the right dosage of light and water! Are you also keeping other plants at home?
  4. For living room, I like #2. For MBR wardrobe, #1.
  5. House is very filled up! Now filling up the common corridor outside the house haha. And it requires lots of DISCIPLINE to keep everything neat! How is your little girl? Interrupted nights huh? But she is worth it... Usually it ends up as daddy's girl
  6. Congrats to you and mrs on your newborn girl girl!
  7. Pink is the way to go... Retch, just go for it lah... Super sexy
  8. Finally finally after 3 failed cakes, advice from Vanessa & colleagues, we baked a not too bad moist butter cake! Our new baking toy! by Makanology, on Flickr I prefer my butter cake to be dry but this is still a success! Can't wait to share with my colleagues tomorrow *beams* This is achieved with this investment... Couldn't resist the color Our new baking toy! by Makanology, on Flickr Ok it was a lame excuse to buy a Kitchenaid especially when we are such novices but it really matches so well with our kitchen! We used our cheap yet good convention oven to bake this time: Our new baking toy! by Makanology, on Flickr So guilty, the Kitchenaid costs about 4.5 times the price of the convention oven...
  9. So lucky of you to win that set! Congrats!
  10. Oh yes the daiso saw can't make it... We also threw that away after several failed attempts.
  11. Ours was Ah Beng also. Guess should be the same guy for all?
  12. Nice! Bet it will look great when all the furnishing is in.
  13. The dent is not acceptable. Best to get HDB replace a new door for you
  14. Sadly not ours and we don't even have your balcony view! Lucky you!
  15. Nice website that you have recommended! One common thing all these rooms have is a high ceiling. Having that gives the lofty feel, just wish that we can have that here!
  16. Sorry I can't remember as it was all bundled into the overall bill with the renovation.
  17. We are using the Legrand Mallia range which is nice and still affordable. But 1 problem is when you put a multi plug adapter, the switch button is semi hidden and hard to reach. Have to use my littlest finger to tap it on!
  18. Yes from Wee. Tested it last night with a call back to mom. Sound quality crisp
  19. Didn't know that Legrand makes lights! This is a good old classic design - can't go wrong! For the curtains, I will suggest to make them earlier. We did simple ones at Ikea and that already took us 2 weeks.
  20. You are very good! Yes Leia is the 2nd one from the left of the picture. She is the smallest in this group @ 6 months. But one of the greediest!
  21. Oh yes she is our little girl in fact, we joined the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Singapore club so that she can make more friends Leia's first CKCS outing by Makanology, on Flickr Guess which is Leia?
