  1. Nice 'good-to-have' list... It is very tempting right? BTW, I like the curtains in the first pix!
  2. That's a lot of storage space planned! Good decision on this; space is never enough
  3. I think this version originated from HK. These are piggy banks and quite big! Lucky never bought them from TB cos BHG is selling them cheaper!
  4. Black, white and grey color scheme - classic!
  5. 47" slowly lug back lor.... Bought it from Harvey Norman fair. Met our budget and decent reviews for the TV, so might as well. Also bought these to start building up our savings when we move in. Buying & renovating a house is a bank-breaking pain Colorful stuffs & as usual HK treasures found! by Makanology, on Flickr
  6. Date for keys collection or for renovation to start? Whichever it is, congrats!!
  7. LG 47" smart TV, no 3D function as my work already revolves around 4D stuff lol. Really heavy but lucky Mr E is strong! Are excited about our renovation and just wish time will pass faster! Now we are juggling between packing our current places, buying stuff for the new place and hence more packing and checking on renovation works. This month's gonna be crazy & we have not done much for our ROM next month!
  8. Oh it looks like a family of Stitches!
  9. No space to display your collection? I saw a Stitch inside that is dying to come out...
  10. Hmmm good question! We buy toys, bathroom accessories, taps, lamps, bed (!), cushion covers, tablecloths, dustbin (!), cabinet, kitchen accessories etc etc etc. it is a gamble everytime but super addictive and thrilling!
  11. Wall lamps for brick wall behind sofa...just arrived today very sturdily made!
  12. Haha nothing serious but our car has now gotten a new 'backside'! Just got our car back today and tomorrow we are heading to burn more holes in our pocket & our first visit of our hacked-up house. Hope they have completed the hacking & cleared the debris!
  13. Your renovation seems to be going at a good pace and nice choice of brickwalls and the common bathroom tiles!
  14. 1) haha equally guilty! We have a lot of things to display. Think all girls have masak masak stash and can't bear to throw, right? The thing is, I am still buying a lot now 2) oh so love your dining table island - brilliant idea with the induction hob on it! 3) the wallpaper super cool! Machiam like craftbricks but def much easier to clean! 4) congrats for staying true to your theme. It is so hard to maintain the focus on the theme, well done!
  15. Wow a contractor who is on time and meets the quotation deadline? That is definitely a good sign! Enjoy shopping!
  16. Ya hacking has started but haven't gone down to see our place yet! Got involved in an accident but no fault of ours though we were busy filing claims against the other party. To distract ourselves, we went shopping again: Untitled by Makanology, on Flickr Untitled by Makanology, on Flickr
  17. Thanks and no worries about the poorly-taken pictures. So far all our pictures are taken from my trusty iPhone 4;) Oh for your awning, 1 vote for the one next to the darkest one. The darkest one - think it will make your area much darker, like permanent storm is brewing!
  18. swee! but must stand at an angle to see the white numbers hahaha
  19. hee hee, haven't tried Kuche yet but we reckon, if many commercial kitchens are using Kuche, it must be good enough for residential (the amount of cooking we do pales big time against the daily heavy cooking in a commercial kitchen). We are only starting our renovation today with 1st day of hacking. Haven't gone down to see yet - in fact, resisting it. hard to find time to go regularly!
  20. big chowchows, is the pet shop located along Upp Serangoon Rd? if yes, think should be safe
  21. oh long-hair daschund! look at the eyes! BTW, love your choice of lamps
