  1. Hi would you wanna buy a few small, cheap pots first to practice? I don't have a green thumb history so experimented on some ikea & Giant pots. In the end, we killed the ikea pots but Giant ones are still thriving with new sprouts, yippee!
  2. Hi welcome to RT and the 3-roomer club! Jurong East is a fantastic location and the houses there will only appreciate! Your floor plan looks big and unique! Especially your MBR!
  3. Hi 3Dyms, my parents have been using ADT for more than 3 years & indeed it has given been extra assurance. They previously experienced a near break-in (despite being a corner unit) and that's why they engaged ADT. However there may be occasional false alarms due to power trips or equipment malfunction (wear & tear) but other than that, it's good!
  4. Hi Piaget, these are Besta cabinets but instead of using the wooden shelves, we used Ireda glass shelves so that the Dioder LED lights can shine through. All from Ikea.
  5. @macuser, Mr E is the neat one. I am more of 'put everything inside the cupboard and worry later'. Do get Mrs Mac to show us her Hello Kitty collection! @ retch Thanks a lot. As what ProjectH said, we have finally 'graduated' and what a journey it has been! How are you settling in?
  6. No worries, we just have too much stuff which confuses people LOL
  7. Hi macuser, thanks for the advice! The spices are stored underneath the cooker hob so hopefully it is ok. Under the sink, we have cleaning solutions, dry towels, pots and pans.
  8. Looking at the amount of stuff we have, YES we do have A LOT! Both of us are toy collectors. I still have about 2 boxes of Hello Kitties not displayed but these are not as 'precious' as those on display. Mr E has tons of toys and stocks. He has a small online biz so his stocks and equipment are all stored at home too. And we have the kiasu-sim in us.. well, we have extra stuff of most stuff, 2 vacuum cleaners, different types of mops, multiple pails, stools & foldable chairs etc. We are now exercising control in buying LOL
  9. Hi June and jus4fun, think my influence has rubbed off him over the years. He used to dislike Hello Kitty but now he looks out for limited editions for me. BTW, the bedsheet was chosen by him, and so is the curtain. I insisted on the lace which he likes but not too much! The bed was to go along with the whole look but we kinda made a boo boo on the Ikea Pax wardrobe. The doors should have been in white also, well sh*t happens ;p
  10. Thanks all for your kind words. There are some DIY projects still uncompleted so hopefully we still have the energy to get them done! We designed our place ourselves with no input from any ID. It was intentional that we want a colorful and cheery home. This may not be what most people like but we envision this house to be a nest for long-term stay so we shall do it our way and of course, along the way, we keep buying stuff and now we just have so much. Neighbor edd is right! Without the storeroom, it will be unimaginable!
  11. Morning Hanafi, the black double-sided hanging clock is from Taobao: 韩国进口挂钟/双面挂钟/客厅双面钟/INTERNI钟表(多色可选) http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=12920644957 The design is nice but a pain to install!

  14. Storeroom Mr E is a pack rat. He is super organised and this is 1 room that has been packed umpteen times. He is now working on the study room and hope it will be as organised as this soon. And again, all the racks and wall-mounted fixtures (except the key box) is from Ikea too. Store Room 1 by Makanology, on FlickrStore Room 2 by Makanology, on Flickr
