  1. We used Amcon but it required alot of coordination with the sellers and Amcon, emails and live chat regularly!
  2. Your house is turning out super duper nice, all the old school touches. Both of you are staying very true to your theme. I faced a losing battle against my hubby to have some of these ideas earlier for our renovation anyways, are you doing the same theme for your MBR?
  3. After living in our new house for almost 3 months, this is what we do on Saturday afternoons Lazy Saturday afternoon chat by Makanology, on Flickr
  4. Well done and I can see that both of you have lotsa toys! But you managed to display them so nicely! Take pics of your sylvianian families once you have displayed them!
  5. I love all your carpentry work and poster bed! And u must be quite a Hello Kitty fan too
  6. We are using Delta kitchen faucet bought from Amazon. Plumber has no problem in fixing it except that the design we selected limits the choices for the kitchen sink. Luckily, it was a blessing in disguise as we now love our giant sink! Untitled by Makanology, on Flickr
  7. Basically once the cabinet is installed, u can still loosen it but not remove it thought. U can mark and chart where the lights are gonna be, then hide the ugly excessive wires behind the cabinet.
  8. Like your study room, looks conducive for a good read and snooze after it!
  9. Hi mango13, these are ikea Dioder led lights and we kinda cheated a bit; we asked our electrician to help us install them EDIT: Mrs Makan here, a-ha! I was wrong. Mr E installed the lights himself. He has just replied mango13.
  10. Sometimes Mustafa carries the older designs of Iona so in case you can't get another unit from Tangs, you can check out Mustafa. The place has some gems but it can be a pain to navigate around
  11. Ikea Besta range and they come in 2 different depths, think 20cm and 40cm. We got the smaller depth as display cabinets.
  12. Key things like rewiring and piping should best be done now as 3 room units are generally old units lest problems occur when you are staying in.
  13. Interesting space planning; can't wait to see the works get started!
  14. Congrats! Have you found an ID or contractor or designtractor?
  15. Your 3D pics are coming to life! Love how your house is done up. Every room is unique!
  16. Nice and glad to hear that all 3 of you have moved in and settling well! Enjoy the decorating journey-always fun to shop for decorative accents!
  17. Hi love the clean colors you have chosen for the whole house! It really 'open' up the space and make the place cosy! Looks like your designtractor did very good work for both of you!
  18. Gain City is also quite risky... Think some forumers experienced problems with their installation as their guys tend to choose the easiest way to lay the pipes even if it is unsightly. Our previous landlord also experienced that when she was installing her air con.
