if you going to conceal the pipe, then you probably can design something in between those pipe.. Your basin can be long narrow type.. not neccessary have to be the standard semi-circle type. Since that side is long.. maybe can have two tap.. In that case, do not need to fight over one tap in the future...

Sorry to be blunt.. I am not sure how wash basin can be use from both side.. As for pipe, i think you probably can put some color or put some decor to enhance it and make it look less " ugly ".. i search a website and link below.. http://singaporenesting.blogspot.sg/ As for 50cm walkway, i think too narrow.. you can try to measure and see whether it works.. Might work if both of you are small build..

ok. In that case, i think it would be better to locate your shower area in your plan B(basin area). As for the two large pipe, the worst case is to concealed it up.. i think i saw one renovation did it and of course extra cost needed. Having the pipe always from water spilt area will reduce cleaning and for me most important as i certainly hate to waste those pipe..

so which ID did you contract and i think you will be using Ah huat for the cabinet carpenter..right ? It happened that ekenji is my colleague..

Actually i do not encourage to knock down the wall for the toilet to create a bigger one.. For me, it will create more trouble unless there are only two person staying.

My thought is that if you put the pipe into the shower area or enclosed it.. You will end up with very dirty pipe and you need to constantly clean it

This floor plan is exact the same as mine in pasir ris st 71.... Bought my unit 10 year back and did not perform any major renovation due to move in condition... Will be thinking of major renovation since i do not want to move/upgrade to a bigger unit( does not make economical sense ).Will be looking how you renovated your house. By the way, you can use the online 3D tool to create your house design.. http://floorplanner.com/... It is FOC and you can visualize.. Share the design i been working on... Just trying to get use to using it.. It also allow for 3D visualization
