  1. Hi need recommendations for the above. Not too ex but hopefully with more recent songs.
  2. Thanks all for your advice. I am going to meet an agent soon. But am wary of hard sell methods or trick into signing anything that I should not have signed. Can I check for the exclusive terms, is there a period of time limited to the contact? What if after 3 mths and the house is not sold. Can I terminate the agent? Or is it a must to give it to the same agent?
  3. Hi, I did not expect anything I am only checking what is the norm.
  4. Hi, would like to know what is included when we engage agent to deal in the selling of flat. I had heard that the agent will pay for the valuation cost. Also heard of cases where the agent will engage cleaners to clean up the flat before putting it on sale. Is there a clause that I must sell the house within a certain period even if the price that I want is not met?

  6. Asking for a friend who is thinking of applying for a BTO and needs to pay the 10% after the option fee. Currently her cpf is all used up for her current flat and would need to pay by cash... Is there any kind of bank loan that does this? est she would need around 40K loan. Is this consider a personal loan? I am thinking to be her guarantor if needed.. what must a guarantor do?
  7. just a reminder folding screen might be a little risky if there is small children at home... it may trap their little fingers or fall or them... I have seen some build in cabinet with glass display that acts as partition. Mayb you can check with you ID.
  8. Hi my family are used to sleep on foldable futons. I am thinking of building a plaform in my MBR with a open up cabinet inside to keep the futons when we are not sleeping on it.. anyone have done that before? Can you please advise how much is the cost and what are you feedback? I heard that there is a maximum height for platform and that I might not be able to build one high enough to act as a cabinet too. Any advice or feedbacks are welcome..
  9. have you paid in full? if you have not than you can hold on to their payment until they do something about this.... but if you have paid full up already, than most likely they wont entertain you..
  10. Hi omg! I hope you have found solution... Incase you have not, maybe you can consider storing your items with storage company and stay with a relative until renovation is done? new flat will be super dusty, not suitable for your 2yo..
  11. hi, do you mean that you are renovating your existing home? if yes, you can arrange to put all your furnitures in one empty room first provided you are not doing the flooring for the whole house. Else you can look for those storage warehouse..
  12. I also did the hacking of wall between two walls for my current flat. it save quite some space. but in your case you will have to change the positioning of your bed.
  13. Hi, not an expert... but according to my experience on average a wardrobe is around 1K... kitchen wise my mum just added a small row on cabinet in her kitchen.. cost her around $3-4K. If you are on budget, you may want to go Ikea to take a look. I like their flexible kitchen system.. you can just get the minimum for the kitchen first and add on when you have more budget.
  14. Please also share abt what is the dos and don't for renovation on a high floor unit. Example, ceiling fan ok? Will it be too windy to hang a fan?
  15. Omg!! Lizard and birds???? The heat from the ceiling isit very bad?
