Do anyone know why we can't plaster the ceiling?

So how many days did you take to paint your EA? Heard that there are masking tapes that are not too sticky. Don't know true or not? Will probably start to look around for paints this coming weekend! Think will use water-based sealer! Hehe!

Thinking of Diy painting my whole house too.. need some advice: 1) What is the main difference between oil based and water based sealer? Not sure which one to use? 2) And do I need to mix my paint with water before painting? Or can just paint straight from the tin? Thks!

Have intention of painting the house by myself after the contractor has done up the wall plastering. Understand there is a need to apply a coat of sealant before painting, is it very tough to apply this sealant? Heard it's very smelly. True? Anyone did all the painting by yourself? Can share your experience? Thks.

Just like to check... from the water tap to the water inlet of the water heater, do you use a flexible type of water hose or stainless steel pipe? which one is better?
