My huge outdoor bamboo blinds currently used to shelter from rain and sun have started to disintegrate (only lasted 3 years). I need desperate measures to replace them, but don't want to waste $$ on short term solutions. Anyone has used plastic or canvas blinds for this, and any advise if I should get them? How about awning? I've read that polycarbonate expands over time,n wont last, so not a good idea as I get a lot of sun in that area. Anyone knows where I can get reasonable awnings fitted, which won't look like those in the 60s? Appreciate your help, thank you.

Anyone know who does reasonably priced mosquito screens for windows like these? Now with dengue alert, don't want to take my chances! Thanks!

Great! Thanks for all your inputs...have decided to just leave it to my contractor.

Anyone has experience in this area? Was looking at 15l Joven and Ariston. Was told Joven's better. Any other brands?

Hi, Anyone know of a reasonably priced 1? Is it better to get contractor to do it together with other house reno, or is it cheaper to get specialist to do it separately, since all they need is the measurement, then fit it in after it's completed? TIA

Cool, thanks! Will check it out. Any other places, anyone?

Looking for a good selection of reasonably priced chidren sets, preferably with 2 single beds and lots of storage space. Anyone knows of 1? I've checked out the shop at IMM, but found it a bit too pricey.

Thanks for your reply, yoongf. As the buyer, wouldn't I need i t to be regularised? My lawyer had advised that it may have some bearing on the house insurance? And in future, when I need to sell my hse? I'm sorry, but I'm really ignorant on how serious the consequences will be of a non-regularisation. Can I opt to ignore it? I mean, based on your experience, has there been many occurrences whereby owner had gotten into trouble for this?

Sorry to ride on yr post...but I'm an idiot with this BCA/URA rules..However, I've had to crash course coz jus landed myself in hot soup! I had exercised an option to purchase an inter terrace, but found out the high probability that it's modification of it's balcony into a rm requires approval from both authorities. This was ascertained after numerous checks with the relevant websites and calls to the parties. However, upon legal inteference to get it regularised, the owner had refused and adamantly maintained that it wasn't necessary! What would my next option be here, short of doing it at my own expense after the completion of sale, which is 1.5 months away?
