kitchen old fashion tiled kitchen top with my granite sink.front edge of the kitchen top will be dark colour to blend with the lower kitchen cabinet doors. For the fridge base, we wanted rounded corner so had to change. The reason by contractor is that the legs of the fridge may not fit in, but we think just a bit of rounded corner should be ok. at most change to smaller width fridge. fridge base corner's curvature now will follow the circle. one stuff, the HDB contractor did not put the canvas when they brought up the sand, resulting in seepage to my neighbour below. mmmm....now my contractor will do some patch up for them and repaint for their ceiling. Strange, how can HDB contractor miss this detail???

agreed with u! put in shares especially property or construction related shares should do well especailly with the IR construction and F1 coming (for retail will be good next year). or if u like slow growing dividend stocks, there are some like ST engineering, SPH, Heong Leong finance that give pretty good dividend. Retail stocks like FJ Benjamin, Lifebrandz into entertainment will also do well. property counters like Wingtai, Ho Bee will be good and not too expensive at the moment.Mid tier property developer like Hiap Hoe, Chip Eng Seng, Sing holdings should also see upside.

Delta sports complex just 5 min walk, just like condo no need maintenance fee, gym entrance fee$2.50, swimming $1, got badmintion courts, table tennis ,hockey, squash etc 4. to the south is vivocity, sentosa, IR 10 min drive 5. TO EAST slightly is the famous tiong bahru market and hawker centre, by bus 3 min, the tiong bahru plaza is just 2 min by bus or 1 min depending on how near u live. 6.To the famous kim seng road eateries 5 min by bus 7. to Great world city 5 min by bus 8. Bukit merah central is 3 min walk away where there is also a bukit merah library, hawker centres, NTUC and many shops and the bukit merah interchange 9.Mount faber if u like nature is 5min by car, by bus also 5-7min 10. the mrt is East West and reaches to most parts of singapore , oh yes 5min by mrt or by bus to Outram and china town and china square 11. oh yes mentioning about expressways i add 1 more reason 3 min to AYE via henderson road or 3 min to CTE via tiong bahru It really does provide the conveniences. -

Property Market Boom Bubble?
Relacker replied to icer's topic in Landed & Condo Private Properties Renovation Discussion
not really. u can sell high during the boom then wait until recession to buy back low. Timing is the essence. But how long we have to wait???? only God knows, even the best economist also dun know some ppl actualy rent a flat instead of buying now , they wanna wait til price low low then buy. one famous example Chen Hanwei! -

Hi everyone, Though I am not totally new to this forum but am newbie to renovation and to posting a t-blog! So really got lots to learn from all the shifus here. We have gotten our flat for 2-3 months liao.Phew! Finally by God’s grace me we will be starting our renovation work this week! Will like to take this chance to everyone who contribute to this forum and make it such a informative source for us, allowing us to compare quotations and gives us different perspective on our renovation ideas.Kudos to all As we feel, we do not need any ID and partly because we have the time to do planning, we kinda ‘unbundled’ the whole reno package and source for individual main con, carpenter, painter and even the tiles supplier ourselves. Through this process, we not only cut down our cost $ we also learn a lot about renovation. Well, it’s interesting really and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We did research for almost 2-3 months b4 we decide on contractor, the carpenter and bought into tiles. We have place orders for air-con and some big item furniture like Sofa, dining table and bed. Hope to show all my pic of our renovation progress. But now can only upload the pre-reno pics. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ID: Relacker & Chuckybaby Our Humble Abode : Redhill Reno start date : 5 May 07 Contractors Contractor: JOO GUAN HUAT@ IMM (Sam Ng) Tiles: ENG BEE & CO @ SUNGEI KADUT (Judy) Carpenter: POH LOONG FURNITURE CO@ SUNGEI KADUT (Peter Ting) Painter: Faisal Furnishings Sofa :LORENZO - yet to be delivered Dining Table : XZQT - yet to be delivered Bedframe + mattress : Serta (Sin Hup @ FurnitureMall) - yet to be delivered Cosy Corner coffee table + 2x chair - Star furniture@ FurnitureMall (place order but may switch to Ikea's) Electricals Aircon: Toshiba multi Syst 3 non-inverter + 1 single split unit non-inverter 24kBTU (AllBest @ IMM), yet to be installed Hob & hood: Turbo (Tuan Heng Hardware @ Jln besar) , delivered Sink: Elleci Master 550 (Tuan Heng Hardware @ Jln besar). delivered Heater: 1x Electric heater Panasonic, 1xElectric heater Mistral (Tai Yong Electric @Jln Besar), delivered Lightings Lightings : A Lighting Enterprise @ Geylang (Alex), delivered yet to be installed Things to buy *********** Curtains - ??? homoG tiles comes in 600x600 or 800x800. (in mm) u can go for the bigger but more susceptible to cracks and the owrkmanship will be more costly.

depends if this is going to be ur last flat ie.e u not going to move anymore. i will be more willing to spend if that is my flat i will be living in for next 50years or more
