On weekend, we finally bought our dinning table. We even bought some nice matching table mats to go along,but that not all. We also bought some shelving for the store room. I finally found the golden vase for the TV console. Not cheap thou. Another new addition is the shocking pink table lamp I bought from Ikea. But the pic doesnt look that pink. Strange. Oh and we also 'send' the guanyi and my late FIL to our new house too. Now my living room was almost done. It time for the study room. Sharp eyes u have there... haha... Not sure is it WOW, but that boardgame belongs to my hub, basically the pic shown all belongs to him, even the TV. I havent moved in my stuff yet. I oni paint the figurings from the boardgame which is a very challenging job. I dont even know what they are playing. I oni know how to play Risk. Usually my hub will meet up with some of his guy friends to the house to play. But never a time I was there watching it. Haha.... Boys are boys

It been such a long time since I touched my blog again. And today, I managed to get back my enthus to start blogging about my new house. I know some people might think that my blog stop when my reno finished but no lor, I will still blog about my new house, but more on the small little things. Even since my reno completed, we have been busy with some big and small purchases. Things like coffee table, utensils, curtains which I bought from Ikea, doing up the blinds and some other minor thing which I cant rem. We even started to move our stuff to our new house bits by bits. And that make our house look more like a house but with a tiny touch of messy. I realised I have been spending most of my money on the kitchen and the loos. We didnt even buy our dinning table yet! As for now, here the pics I had taken today. The Samsung Customer care also ask me to do so. Cos now my house is still empty except oni got TV that all... will bring the DVD player and try... But quite curious, why all the normal channel like CH5, CH8 U channel the picture not swee swee one... like worst then I see in the display leh...(they also showing CH8 at that time.)

I wa to know why is my TV have a line of shadow going up? Is it due of the starhub thing, cos we ask the man who install the bracket for us, he say we dont hv a starhub point something like that y... doesnt anyone have this problem? Btw, mine is a 42" samsung plasma TV. When we went to see at the shop it was ok, but dont kw why at hm the Tv like not sharp and sometime gt double images.

U are so rite man.... I really did fell asleep while watching TV. I got my Sofa from Home2be. Damage cost about 1.7K. But it kind of too big... now I to buy a smaller dinning table...

Here comes the furnitures I know I havent been blogging for 2 weeks. The last 2 weeks was quite a busy weeks for us. We have work to do, TV to buy and house cleaning to do. Talking about house cleaning, I really hate it. I took 2 days of leaves, in hope to get the house clean up before our furnitures comes in. Scrubbing the floor, cleaning the windows and even do mopping more then 6 times. I end up getting backache and arm cramps. Really hate house cleaning. Anyway we managed to get our TV! It a Samsung 42" Plasma TV. Not too sure how good is the TV, cos I seldom watch. Only know it comes with HD feature. And free movie tickets. Hahah... Of cos not becos of the tickets that I got this TV la. We had arranged the TV to be send on Sat afternoon. Then they called to get it chance to Friday, reason was that Sat they are fully packed and the redeem of warranty (3 yrs) last day was on Sat. I was angry lor, why didnt they tell us before that. And now becos the last day to redeem a 3 yr warranty is the day when we want the TV to be send, they want to change it on Fri. How can, we have to work and nobody is there to receive it but when I think of the 3 yrs warranty (if we miss the date, we would only entitled for a yr nian), no choice lor. And today, the final touch up is done. Our sofa and beds were send today too... now I really can declared our reno is 100% done. After 2.5 months of waiting, finally! Enough said. His house is @ Jln Kukoh. His mum doesnt wa to sell off, in case she stay with us not comfortable/or cant get along well with DIL(we heard stories ab Daughter in law and Mother in law stuff). At least she got a house in case anything happen, she can sell the house. For now I think she wa to keep it 1st.

I mean the blueish color is the one near Koufu Hawker centre, beside it is a school (forgot wa name). I stay at Blk 255... if the Blk 20X series all become yellowish, then it will be very fresh an bright feel.

Oh so no more the pink and pale color liao? last week I went, my hub took me gt few blk chang color. But I dnt kw the previous color... but the color nw look nicer. It abit blueish. I still dont kw SK area. Dont kw where is 303. I oni kw where is 20X, my blk area, Koufu hawker centre, compass point oni... sometime if I go my house at nite, I will lost my way....

Talking ab hot location. My hub gt a 30 yrs 1+1 room unit. During that time his mum bought at 9K for a 1 room flat. Then it was upgraded to 1+1 unit. When I ask them how much the house can sell, he say around 10K+. FYI, his house is at chinatown area. In between chinatown and Roberston Quay/Mohd Sultan. I find his house location very good. Go where also very convienent. Another few months time, he is going to moved out with his mum and the house will be empty. We are intending to rent the house out so that his mum would hv extra $$ to spent for herself (she a widow and retired just this yr). I did ask my agent how much can we rent the house out, he say around $800-$1K depending. Is it abit too much for the price? Noted that the house is already 30 yrs old. But location is very good. I hear from my hub, he say gt ang mo stay around his blk.

Before I got my house, I also went to a few units around 20X... The 1st time I go... the flat outside look very old. I dnt like. But one of the unit I went.. **** nice lor... can save on reno cos the house is wa we look for. And best of the kitchen is all done up nicely. We that time wa to get the hse, but the flat look very old... like no paint for yrs liao... in the end we didnt get the place. If I get the unit, I would have become ur neighbours too.... too bad I stay @ Blk 255.

Me stay @ Blk 255. Btw wa is unit tour? Me also watched on the Friday the 13th. Me sit infront @ row 22, but still cant see him very clearly. I even went to look for him after the concert over. When the van pass by, it the 1st time I am so closed to Jacky... my heart almost stop man... haha....

Ya man... just check with my hub, indeed it the same model... how conincidence. Actually, I wa to use corpose_bride, but my hub say no good. Sound "bu ji li". He ask me to change to other nick, then came up a few like, pretty_bride, which i think abit common, cute_bride, abit childish. Then my hub suggest bitchy... cos i nag, gossip... abit bitchy... so i change the name to bitchy_bride lor... hehe... but actually I am not that bitchy lika a 3 8 la... Thanks. I dont have the model with me now. The salesman say it just realised this yr only. Bought around $2K+. But I am worried why is it so cheap for a 42" and somemore it a plasma leh... Ya man... so shiok lor the concert..... u also went?

House Cleaning I always thought house cleaning in a empty house would be very easy. But it not. I took 2 days leaves, hoping we can finished the cleaning and washing up of the house before the weekend comes to deliver the furnitures. 2 days of hardwork, we only left with the windows to clean. It was a very tiring job. End up having backache and arm cramp. It not easy to be a cleaner or a housewife leh. I dont think I can be a good housewife in future, COS I HATE HOUSE CLEANING! Not that I never do houswork. I do vaccum and mop the floor, wash the clothes, hang the clothes, cleaning the dusty area. I dnt even dare to wash the toilet bowl even if it wasnt used before. Hai... this useless wife cant wash the toilet bowl leh... I still have to wait for my hub to wash the bowl for me before I clean the rest.... hahaha.... But I find that no matter how much u mop the floor, the pail of water will still become chalky. I think I washed more then 6 times in the living room and 3 times in all the bedrooms and the kitchen. Now I realised how tough it is to clean the house.... think of it, it quite scarely. ***** We managed to find our TV. It a 42" Samsung Plasma TV, bought it at Audio House. I afraid it abit too big for my living room.... abit worried....
