ah.. thanks for the answers. yes i'm an idiot, but this world is made up by idiots. the republicans are idiots, the democrats are idiots... the list goes on and on... this is one alternative i might have to take if i'm forced up the wall. if I'll have to share my money with some woman, i'd rather be liberal on prostitution. guess getting a flat isn't an easy task. If i'm able to get a flat using my parent's name in the very first place, i won't be thinking of this stupid idea already. but still, thanks for the advice. i won't really harm the lady, it's merely a transaction. but then again, thanks to the stupid rules.

Just wondering... was about to get a vietnamese and divorce her once I've got a HDB flat... just how long will the divorce might take for processing? anyone with experience/knowledge on this one here? please spare me the lecture about being human or emotional or whatsoever... I'm being forced to such measures to get a HDB already. so.. any answers?

hmm.. thanks for the advice. but sadly, my friends are coming over usually for an overnight chit chatting, movie marathon, gaming... etc. I doubt I want to interrupt my landlords in a goodnight's sleep. but then, thanks again

hmm... i just realized that it's either I'm stingy, or I just know how to spend my money wisely due to my low income. I mean, I don't spend much, usually. Used to see this girl once but eventually she left because I'd rather took her to Bangkok instead of getting her this 4K ring with this small stone on it. I only upgrade my gadgets once every year, usually a 'high end' phone as well as my PC once every 2 years. Been wearing the same clothes for the past 3 years. hmm...

ah.. you've got me. that's me... dealing with housing problem right now. I see no point of getting married just to get a flat, nor seeing somebody just because of my own benefits. My reason for not considering about renting is as what some had highlighted. Some restrictions on bringing friends over for socializing.. etc It's not like I haven't been working hard enough. My basic pay is $1.2k, and I have to work OT with only 2 days of rest a month just to get the additional 1.1k as my income. Been through a lot in a broken family, having to struggle hard and now, my parents are giving me hints that it's time for me to move out, and I'm not eligible for any HDB flats.
