I have ordered 2 set of the 5ft full height sliding door imported customised wardrobe to let go at $2900 for both. The condition is you have to take both, the installation has yet to be done so we can still change the address. It is ideal if you are renovating your house now and if you need more than 2 set, we can still ask the vendor to install the 3/4th set at the committed price. P.S. i have gotten 3 different quotation from renovation contractors which include the carpentry build-in wardrobe costing and i found that almost all of them quote higher cost for the wardrobe (the contractor say he can't match the price!). If i were you, i would rather give up the $5K and seek HDB to cancel the deal (or get back the deposit if possible). If the owner took another loan shark without changing his address, you run a high risk of the loan shark coming to harass your family.

I tried using homeplug for mio tv in another room but it didn't work, best bet is still lay a cat5/6 cable to the room if you need mio tv.

Hi all, I have a question regarding the ceiling height from living room to kitchen area for HDB flat, anyone know if there is any different? i understand the floor for living area is higher, and not sure if there is any different on the ceiling side. I was told that since the living room flooring is higher, the ceiling will be slightly higher too. If i were to hack the kitchen wall, how to level the ceiling if there is a different?

Hi XTR, impress with the DIY work of yours, i sure won't have the time and idea to do this... i have the same floor plan as your flat and you have given me some idea for my kitchen. But a few questions: 1. do you have a floor plan of the new layout? where is your dining area? 2. what paint do you use for the toilet area? was it waterproof? i can see they are just paint, but wouldn't gets moldy after a while?
