No lar..that is correct. It is est net weight or total volume whichever is Higher. Therefore must always remember to ask the sender to pack tightly .. dun put in another bigger box or anything. I once ordered some very small items from US using VPOST. THe seller just send the 3 items i ordered in a carton meant for 12! of course VPOST charge me by volume and I paid almost triple for shipping rather then if the seller jsut send the items without the carton box...

its not really a MO lar..just buy together for convenience. Dun think they will give any discount even if we buy together. If you guys come across any website that has a good deal just highlight to all and we can buy from there and hopefully save on some shipping cost. Cheers

Pardon my ignorance...but what is haulage services for?

As a consolation to me..I called up HL today and they quoted me $1550 for exactly the same package but without the extended warranty... so i luigi abt $100+ !! So in fact the price $1599 with all the freebies and extended waranty is actually quite ok... learnt my lesson though... will check out all these shops b4 i buy anything.. Anyone have the list of "neighbourhood" shops mentioned in the other thread? If so can PM me? Thank you !!
