Hi I just bought a semi-d which are fairly new (7 years old). The house is in fairly good condition and I would like to do a general painting and mini reno before I move in. Besides painting, is there anything I should do to maintain the house? Do I need to re-waterproof the external parts of the house? Like windows or planters and the concrete roof? But with 2 todler boys, I am not sure whether this laminate flooring can last... Still contemplating whether to bite the bullet and hack the brand new laminate... Can I also have the painter contact? Hi Pockz, Your idea for the sliding glass panel for the kitchen is similar to mine! But mine is 1 fixed glass panel and 2 sliding glass panel of about 90 cm width each. Do you mind sharing your sliding glass panel supplier and the cost for yours? Mine is charging me $3600 for the panels (plus 1 sliding door for kitchen door). Am not sure whether I am getting chopped or not . Hoping to find cheaper alternative.. Thanks!

Hello! I've been addicted to this thread and caught the Amazon fever! Finally taking the plunge for the first time!
