hi OnePostWonder, i bought my bed set from furniture Club at Furniture Mall

Yesterday carpenters came & install partial kitchen cabinet. Today the ppl doing the Solid Surface came & measure the cabinet top. nothing else is done on the house . The progress now **** slow man !! !!

Calling all 3 roomers, feel free to post pictures or ur reno blog links of ur 3 rooms here. Be it still under reno, completed or ur ideas of how u gonna design ur 3 room HDB flats. It is to consolidate all 3 roomers into a single thread for easy viewing, to get ideas of how to do up a 3 rooms. Ya better take picture & show the locksmith. Some wrought iron gate cannot use this lock becoz of the design of the gate.

Ya dat's another solution. But my floor & walls is not a 90 deg joint. Old 3 room HDB flat the joint between the floor & the walls is a bit rounded type. Push the bed all the way also cannot cannot lean flat to the walls. Think the only way is to construct a false wall... haiz... Should have got a bed with legs.... Any adverse effect if there is a gap between my bed & the wall behind it??? Very scared le...

Fwah really ah $200 lock oso kana broke in! The burglar hack the lock or wat? Or they pick the lock? Got the link to Odie's reno T-Blog? His T-blog is like 100+ page, very difficult to fine the post talking abt the burglar. I bought the lock from a locksmith shop in jalan besar. The shop at a corner beside a motor shop. The name of the shop is Goodluck Locksmith Service. It's near to the food court. Homefix oso selling Duro lock but i think the price more ex. Can anybody help? Below is the pic of my MBR. I dunno anything abt fengsui. But how to know where is the best position to place my bed? Heard from my friend dat the bed headrest gonna place leaning flat to the wall, cannot have gap between the bed headrest and the wall. Is it true dat it is no good? Wat bad effect will it pose if the bed is not leaning flat to the wall behind it? I've bought a platform bedframe & my MBR room's wall's which i gonna place my bed has got aircon trunking at the bottom, causing the bed cannot be leaning flat to the wall. Anyway to salvage the situaton? Dun have any more extra $ to construct a false wall Here is the pics This is the platform bed i bought. The back of the platform bedframe is staight.It's design to lean flat to the wall. This is the wall in the MBR dat my bed is gonna lean against. Can see from the pic the lower part of the wall has aircon trunking protruding out, making it impossible to place the bed leaning flat to the wall. The wall painted green colour also arched in 1... My electrician uses Hager switches, telephone point & power point for my house. Dunno how much it cost thou as it's in the package. Here's how it looks like. To me it looks nicer than those normal small switches. & the motion of the switches is very smooth. Juz a soft touch on it would activate the light liao.

I bought the Duro lock( Model ART 338) for $120, the Yale handle set for $70. I oso bought a Duro keyhole($60) to replace the Yale lock set's key hole & ask the locksmith to modify the Duro's keyhole so dat it uses the same key as my Duro lock. I dun like to carry a big bunch of keys when i go out Bought a letterbox lock oso. So i need to carry only 3 keys. 1 for the lock & wooden door, 1 for the wrought iron gate & 1 for the letterbox Last nite i DIY & install the Yale lock set liao. Looks quite nice on the newly painted doors Have a more modern look compared to the old antique looking handle set on the wood colour door Will take pics later

Hahaha! Thanks. The lighting effects really very nice but cannot turn all on everyday, very "jiak dian" Tomorrow painter will paint whole house again, including all wooden doors Can't wait to see the finished paintwork with the lights on. Sure much nicer
