Ya agree with u. Initially my house the walls like can see bricks inside, can see the shape of the bricks. If i didn't plaster the whole house, cannot imagine how it'll look like when the lightings shine on it

Haiz... My house paint job oredi done up liao... U pay peanuts, u get monkeys. Wat i'm afraid of is for the price i pay, i may not get the quality kinda paint. Lousy paint also will show signs deterrioate after a year or so... Haiz... Hope my paint work is ok lo...

Hahaha! Actually i love cove lights too, but unfortunately my wife dun like. She say will have lizards & stuff hiding in it. Haiz... So drop the idea lo !!

TMD... I should have do some research 1st Haiz... Inexperience 1st timer like me gong gong like dat sure kana ketok 1. But at least next time i know. Wat i'm afraid of is dat $ throw liao, but did they give me quality paint or not? Or juz some lousy paint... Haiz... some contractors really very dishornest... Do u know where can i get the customised paint? Like for my case, can they mix wash & wear of my kitchen colour if i give them some samples?

So do u have to pay extra for the customise colour paint? For my kitchen paint, i'm using wash & wear paint, not those normal emulsion paint. But wash & wear dun have the colour i want. So my ID say she gonna ask the paint shop to special mix wash & wear paint of my colour choice. She charge me $200 for it Dunno got kana ketok or not. But my reno over liao, $ oso give liao. Juz wanna know if there's really such a case whereby gonna pay extra $ for special mixed paint for wash & wear paint.

Choices of fabric material for sofa & throw cushion, all can be removed & washed. Latex material inside, like those in mattresses. Today kitchen sink & tap installed. Giraffe look alike tap. Looks kinda like alien too Stainless steel back splash on hob & sink area Haven tear off the protection plastic yet !! Painter came & paint the kitchen walls too Got a bit of problem. The masking used to on the walls r too sticky. When tear off the masking tape, some paint came off. So tomorrow painter will be back to do some touchup. My Jager computer table bought from Ikea. Today shift it into place Think of putting the free 20" LCD TV like dat beside the table Today unwrapped dining chair liao Wife clean up the dining area too Took out the top stainless steel plate protection plastic to reveal the shiny stainless steel

Ya gonna agree her brain really can think very fast. Best part of this is the design. 1 part of it is a long thin piece of wood dat is bolted to the wall. This thin piece of wood is design like a hook to let the other piece to hang on it. So the end product is wat we see & on the side of it, there is still enough space for me to access to the power points behind the 2 side tables 1 stone kill 2 birds ID say can move in this weekend. Kinda sad coz reno ending soon. Gonna miss the times when it all started...making decisions... running ard searching & hunting for stuffs... Visiting different kinds of shops which we normally dun go like tiles shops, lighting shops... & the norm is after work rush down & have a look, c the new stuff the contractors have installed...U know this kinda stuff i really miss & even had a few heated argument with my wife over different preferences in choices. I believe i'm not the only 1 experiencing this i think it part & parcel of reno becoz of different likes & dislikes between partners Heard from ID some even quarrel till divorce Pengz... even thou it kinda stressing & tiring going thru the whole process, but seeing thing progressing the way we planned & becoming a reality really is a worthwhile experience. Wah this SBH earn us a lot of $ hor Ya the 2nd level mock up tile work really nice. Can get some ideas from there man Last time when i go choose tiles they r still doing up the mock up. Some of it still in progress of building up new display. i think after some time they will tear up the old display & build new ones. The big boss himself is there to bring us around the 2nd level for a look & gave us some ideas too & the aircon on the 1st level **** power! Knda agree with c_stradale, if wanna buy electrical appliances, better go to those big names electrical shops like Best Denki or Courts etc... Go there not to buy but go look c loo c. When u finally found the model u want, write down the model number & then go to those neighbourhood electrical store & ask for pricing. U'll be surprise the price difference man & moreover, watever promotion those big name shops have, they oso have. For example i recently got a Mistral fan. Forgot the model but it's the model where it can sweep not only left & right, but can oso sweep up & down. Go to Best, selling at $128,. Called my electrical shop, selling only $90. Quick savings of $38

Dun have to make a full height false wall which will burn my wallet, which is oredi badly burnt till "chao ta" liao from reno fee, furnitures & electrical appliances purchase Think this is a common problem for platform bed owners. The headrest area cannot be fully leaned against the wall. Mostly becoz the floor corner is not 90deg but rather a lottle rounded, so the bottom area cannot push till flat against the wall becoz of the rounded corner..
