I had the same problem the first time I went there - was quite put off by a certain staff. However, subsequent visits to Lush was better. I was attended by Aidil, his service was way better than the other guy. And after speaking to him, I ended buying most of my furniture from him. When buying at Lush, look for Aidil instead............

I have this at home. Basically, its an all-in-one - DVD/CD player, Radio, ipod dock, etc. Pros - Very little wiring, just a power cable, a cable to connect the 2 pieces, a HDMI cable to the TV. Small unit, can be wall mounted as well. Good general all round player. Cons - Its not a true surround sound speaker, and cannot compare to one. Bass is a little weak at times to me, despite the physical size of the subwoofer. Expensive (I got mind at a lower price from someone at Philips).

Hdb Selling Repurchased Flat.
matt70 replied to yokoyoko's topic in HDB New/Resale Flats, Executive Condominiums
For - 1) only if there are hollow/damage tiles I think 2) not too sure 3) Should be no 4) I ask them to remove - since it was not part of the original HDB flat 5) I don't think window grills are part of the original HDB flat 6) They will clean what they remove (for myself - all the hacked away tiles and kitchen cabinents) Speak to your case officer to find out more. -
How much does Ikea sell their individual railings/hinges and related parts (Blum OEM)? I'm considering exploring this option if its really cheaper.

Hdb Selling Repurchased Flat.

I got HDB to remove old kitchen cabinets, hack floor/wall tiles for hall, dining, balconies, and kitchen. Bathrooms - they didn't want to do, as they claim it was laid in 2005, by HDB. Suppose to start this week - will call them to see if they really do it. (Maybe I should start a blog too) -

Found out from my HDB officer, plus I verified the information from my own personal sources. No - I'm not into fengshui. -
Hdb Selling Repurchased Flat.
matt70 replied to yokoyoko's topic in HDB New/Resale Flats, Executive Condominiums
After failing to get any new flat from previous ballotings, I decided to get a 10 year old RP flat in Tampines from the Feb WIS. Did a background check from 2 different sources about the history and was surprised to find out that there were 2 previous owners before me. First owners had financial difficulties, sold back to HDB in 1999/2000. Second owner bought it 2001, had marriage problems and sold it back to HDB in 2005. Not occupied ever since. I'm not too concern about this, as long as nobody died in the flat. One major thing I do not like about the flat is its old style interior design. I have no choice but to spend more on renovation to do up the whole place. -

I'm also interested to find out about the costs of doing frameless glass partition. Also, if anyone has done fixed glass partitions between living/dining and kitchen areas, please share some info.
