    Those who gotten new HDB flats are also winners cos when they sell their flat in the mkt, they gained.

    It does make sense to pay more in the current market. HDB flats are still cheaper than resale and the best part is there is no COV to pay upfront. Buying new HDB flat is no longer profitable but to have a roof to live.

    I remember reading about the HDB registration fee also in the website. Valuation can buy from seller or do a new one.

    If HDB don't peg to current mkt situation, when there is recession, wouldn't new flat be outpriced to resale. So it is logical to do so.
