  8. Why not change the 2nd appt date? During their stay, YOU are responsible for the flat. If any illegal activities take place, HDB will be looking for you.
  9. A lot of signing of docs, mainly the financial plan for your loan will also be explained, etc. Can be quite fast abt 30mins unless you have a lots of question to ask and clarify. Also need to do some payment for cavet, etc.
  10. Since the 2nd appt date has been fixed, no choice for the buyer but to accept it. But you sure mess up their plans.
  11. If it is written on the OTP, signed by both parties, still not legally binding? But if already fix the 2nd appointment date, then no choice. They have no legal rights to chase you away. So try to accomodate them lor.
  12. Yar. Integrated sink is made from solid top, supposed to be in-mould with the kitchen solid top. Has anyone does it?
  13. Since it is already agreed upon during OTP, it will be good if the buyers can move in by that date. After all they also made their own arrangements, including reno stuff. They may also have a time to meet in moving out of their house.
  14. So which company is good for mother to work in? Which line of work or industry?
  15. TRUST has to be there in marriage... so naturally a lot of things will evolve around TRUST.
  16. For both buyer & seller benefits, it is not good to fix at a price cos if the val price is either higher or lower, one party will lose out. For a win-win situation, I always opt for val + cash. This also helps me look for my affordable house within means.
  17. Same as buying. Easier to buy but when decided to not buy, difficult to refund back $$$.
  18. I believe the buyer didn't want to fork out too much cash, but since val is lower = means more cash upfront. Less loan amt, etc.
  19. I do not know what has transpired during OTP. But I would talk to my agent first, look through the contract to see if any deadline is mentioned. Have to sign by both parties to establish if I have case. Else, may have to just wait till the max xx days for submission. How long has it been?
  20. Hi, what's the difference between the above 2? And which is more cheaper? Any good/bad if using the cheaper version? Many thanks. I'm trying to see if my id is trying to replace something cheaper than agreed.
  21. Actually, now the guys don't mind that their ladies are earning more. The more they have, the better quality of life they can share. In fact, if the ladies earn more and tend to save more, it is actually less financial stress on the husband, can work out an emergency fund or something from the ladies side. And when there are children, most of $$ (no matter whoose) will goes to them for their enrichment, etc.
  22. How to choose? Any price range?
  23. Did the seller convey their intention when you signed the OTP? Are you represented by any agent? If so, let your agent do the talking and pushing (that's y we paid). Let your intention be known to the seller that you aren't pleased of the delay and will like for the 1st appointment date to be xxx.
