Not all flats. Those with service balcony is where the laundry area is too, and is not part of the kitchen. So really depends if you want cheap HDB new flat or resale flat (can choose the layout). Or maybe we should cultivate patience and understanding first before seeking consideration from others?? Anyway, here is for us to share experience, not to do anything dramatic.

Dunno, during the id search, saw many id magazine. Got a few which "modify" their layout in HDB unit. Eg. make the kitchen smaller, to have a larger living room and this is a 3-rm HDB. Come to think about it, if I have the $$$$$$, I will not be staying in HDB which cost a lot more nowadays with little fulfilment in return.

The cost of rebuilding a wall is similar to destroying one. A few hundreds. So if rich can even relayout the house, good rite.

That time I stayed till they clear the buffet table (take away the food) and I still saw people still going for the food (no announcement for last taking, so dunno stop already). Needed more alignment with guest ba. But good point, seating no need round table. That time sit in those benches, so if group of friends more than 10 also sitted together. Photo-taking also faster, cos in groups not tables. Atmosphere more relaxed too. Dressing also smart casual.

Got. I attended one before at Fort Canning, The legends. I got this problem, when does it ends? Cos at those 8-course meal, you will know when to finished (upon recieving of the 8th course/dessert). Also quite pai seh to keep going to the buffet table to reload -> buffet = self-services. But hong bao, I give the normal rate. So the bride & groom earn $$$ from it. Will not damage floor. Just check with your id. If already doesn't feel good, no need to talk abt fs, it already not good. Normally toilet door easier to shift than room door, less affected area but I didn't see the layout. I only know passengeway to door: front = toilet, right/left = room.

it still depends on various factor.... 1. market range 2. demand & supply 3. current pay - if already 5k, you probably willn't switch till the pull factor is much better so to me, money is not the top factor which i consider in a job, it is the work of the job which I will be looking at, if it is what I will like to do. Job satisfaction and achievements vs monetary gains.
