Woah! Yours arrived faster than mine! For my case was, there is a little small hiccup. The seller sent the wrong design for my lights and luckily May had do a checking for me. So the shipment for all the stuff had to hold first till this lights are being replaced...signed. Becaues I do not want to incurred additional cost by second time shipment. So your stuff only occupied 1.5cbm, do you mind sharing or give the breakdown how much you pay for the total shipment and is there extra cost incurred to sent to your doorstep? I hope I will not get a shock or jaw drop when the bills comes in la cheers!!

Hi Woah! My name was mentioned here! Ya as a 上班族, I can only go during weekends to check the work-in-progress. Afterwork usually very difficult, even if I carry a strong torch light I still find it difficult to see le. Day light is better as I could see more clearly and sharper!! Haven't been updates for a while. Just too tire and drained...Will try to post more images as it goes along.(Aiya.forgotten to take pixs again..) Some sharing la...I truly understand as a house owner and already spent so much over a property and now renovation cost another big BOMB!, thus basic requirement is to do up the houese 'swee swee' right? So when things screwed up, steams boiling inside up and all angry words all come out...bah bah bah, things can get pretty nasty. During the renovation progress, mine wasn't 100% perfect, maybe I'm just too fussy la, this I can't help it but nether am I "qing cai" lor. But I feel the most important thing is how to rectify the problem and solved it. Let say, if can't and die die wanted to stick to the original design then redo lor but if flexibility is allow, just blend the rules a little and rethink of another way to solved it. That is what had happened to me and at that time, I did wanted to hitted my ID's head hard!! Well he admitted the mistakes he had made, he did not run away and he did try to solve it for me. I have read those news about the irresponsible ID/contractors or worst run away with your hard-earned $$ etc. Those are unforgiven type. So in a way, I quite thankful to GOD he did not run away. HAHAHA Hopefully, now the major job scope upcoming is carpentary and if hiccups again, oh well...he just had to go and bang his head againt the walls again lor cheers

My orders were delay too but my ID said can be installed later even if the renovation was done up. So maybe you can discuss with your ID/contractors?

Hi Thanks all for the advise. Because the aircons wasn't from my ID's contact. Anyway, I have checked with my ID and my flat can be painted first, then install the aircons unit. Later the painter will paint over the truckings again. But to ask the aircons man to come another trip to install the units, as I know they will charge for second trip make.

Hi, I need an advise. Whether to do painting first then install air-conds or is the other way round? Because seem like make sense to paint first, so I will not get the unpainted patch if years passed by if air-conds need to be replaced etc? But then it will also mean the painter will do double work as the casing need to be paint over too. Thanks

During the period when my flat is still hacking etc, I did not idle around, instead every weekends I will go to make a search for my lightings. Walk till legs breaking, along the whole stretch of Jalan Besar and even went to Balestier to take a look of what is available in the markets and the cost of it. Didn't realise that lightings in Singapore are so expensive As I have been browsing the website of TB, and when I went to some shops, most of the designs I saw was also selling and the prices are so much different. Mostly I went into those shops and feel like being carroted. I even went to the same shop at a different weekends and was served by two different salesman and the prices they given can be different by $20-$70 for same design that I was eyeing on. Almost wanted to get the lights from the cheapest quote he had given me but.... after much thought I decided to get from TB!! So last week, I manage to make a quick list of ordering for my lights as from now most of the suppliers in TB are closing for almost two weeks plus during CNY. Even though they can takes the orders but they will not release the goods. Luckily, my ID is very helpful and willing to help me install my lights even if my renovation have done up. YEAH!!! So have to wait patiently for the goods to come. Not sure about the shipment fee thougn. But I think will still be cheaper than getting in Singapore.

After weeks passed, finally there is a bit of updates. Tiles are done up (can't see it from now as it was being covered up)and plastering had been done for the whole house as you can see below the attached images. Saw only one man doing the plastering and according to him, he was at my houes for the past 4 days. All workers have gone back home for the CNY. So after CNY, will be discussing with the ID over the cabinets, paintings and electrical point etc..
