ya.. me too a rookie in curtains.. ... i only know day curtain is those translucent type.. 沙布 kind.. got white/cream/dark grey(or black?)... night curtain is the "traditional" kind block lights 70%-100%.. depend on materials.. n the prices very much depend on the chosen fabrics..

the 1st curtain quote i've got.. this guy intro by Lance.. quite expensive to me leh.. i hv told him.. i dun wish to spend much on curtain.. so only day curtain (the most plain n common 1) in living n bedroom3.. mom's room 1 layer night curtain will do.. i chose the fabric (he said) at $22/m.. n my mbr 2 layers (day + night) night curtain same material as mom's room.. n the quote he jus sms-ed me.. seems so expensive.. a total $1530..

i got mine frm FC as well.. having deliver on 12jan.. pm me if i forgot to come back here for a feedback.. haha.. cos really biz n rush on everything.. reno n moving hse is SOOOO tired.. but so far.. their service is still OK.. i booked the set a yr ago.. n jus 2mths ago i brought my ID to the IMM showroom to choose the sofa fabric n confirm on the various item models etc.. they jus let us roam n abt n move their items ard to hv a clearer pic when things put together.. ID kept choosing this n that n no complaint frm them too.. but the tricky part comes when it is nearer to the date of delivery.. cos initially ID was confident my reno complete by end or 1st week jan.. so hv told them to deliver on 5th jan (the 1st sat in jan).. but now realised delay in reno n hv to postphone FC delivery.. i called last week and confirm the postphone to 12th (delay 1 weekend).. but on tues or wed afternoon.. FC called me up n ask "hi, ms cheung, so we'd be sending ur living+dining set on this coming sat hor?".. i was so shock to heard that n quickly clarified with them on the postphone.. lucky.. yest (5jan) no one frm FC make the delivery over.. else.. i'd faint.. now i hv to worry.. if my set will come on 12th or not..

mm.. contemporary.. means modern w/ clean lines in the design consideration.. so anything as simple as possible.. not too fancy.. n i opted for ikea's SKARP clock.. only $35.. haha! but may look too simple or ordinary for most ppl..

Lance had jus called to inform.. they hv to re-do my mbr laminates.. cos the previous month rain a lot.. n is still raining now.. he afraid the weather affected the laminates n will result in bad flooring.. so decided for me to re-do.. he mentioned something abt a new badge of laminates with less problems will come in the weekend n tis time round he's getting 最好的师傅 to come dismentle the old laminates.. ask me not to worry but expect some delay.. mm.. ok la.. as long as tings r done n rectified nicely.. actually i'm very VERY PLEASED now.. that he's so 细心 now.. esp yest nite when we discussed abt the kitchen entrance.. he really showed to me they (together with the carpenters n electricians) hv considered a lot for me n discussed a few rounds to come out the solutions/options for me.. i'm really very pleased with them le.. now let's hope everything will turn out fine!
