if the robber used saw.. then i guess.. no matter wat kind of locks also no use.. since everything he can saw apart mah.. anyway.. 锁是只防君子不防小人.. or we use diamond lock.. only diamond or laser can used to cut it.. hahaha.. really hv no idea to guide off 小人.. but may b dun over use the locks or cameras.. chinese says 此地无银三百两.. dun make others think ur place is loaded with valuables.. that is the least we can do bah..

actually i was very 怀疑 abt tat uncle.. when my mom called me on the phone telling me all these.. n tat uncle charging $150 for 6.. i felt pretty expensive.. but can't help it.. she feel better to change.. so jus did it.. n i rem i read somewhere on tis forum.. abt tis ting.. i did a search again.. i shld hv done it earlier.. found it was mentioned in the tanglin hault thread.. zirhk3355 mentioned it.. she posted on their blog some time ago.. i hope they don't mind if i post it again here.. referring their blog entry @ http://khrizangel.blogspot.com/2007/08/sec...metal-gate.html they only did it for $60 for 6 bolts...

yes.. the original hinges r real easy to force open.. tat day the uncle came door to door.. my next door neighbour paid tat uncle to change the hinges.. my mom saw tat uncle how easy to "hammer" out the original hinges.. then she also asked tat uncle to change ours.. paid $150 for 6 hinges.. but my heart still not feeling very safe.. sigh..

hee.. looks like gotta visit the alexandra area again le! din know such a revamp wor.. hee.. thanks thanks! will go there check it out soon! ya lance really helped me quite a lot in the later stage.. my HHS door's laminates been changed 3 times.. my kitchen sliding door's mirror got scratches.. he arranged the contractor came for 3 times.. the final round gotta change a total new piece of mirror for me.. kitchen solid surface also came 3 times to rectify the stubborn stain at the side.. but in d n still cannot b help cos the stain real too deep inside n even lance's prj director also said no choice n hope i can accept it.. sigh.. but tinking back.. since they already did their best in helping.. stain is at the side not tat obvious.. i jus "ok loh".. but overall already very very appreciate their service la.. esp the roller blind to hide my laundry bar in kitchen.. totally helped me w/o single charge.. n tat was real whole lot of effects frm the carpenters.. really million thanks to them! oh cindy! haha.. so coincident! i use the basket insert cos my kitchen cabinet very shallow.. the normal cutlery tray can't fit in.. lucky i found this! hehehe..
