hv to ask loh.. for my living+dining set.. they even allow us 1 time to change the selected model before delivery.. for my simmons mattresses.. sales gal says not a problem cos they jus need a rough timing so that they can ship over the mattresses frm canada just 1 month prior to delivery date.. others.. like electrical stuffs.. not a hurry.. cos always hv sales esp yr end.. christmas or new yr sales.. heard tat sony n sharp always hv warehouse sales towards oct or nov.. so watch out.. haha..

onepostwonder, i bought ours at the 2006's best price promo (promo was in apr).. $1899 (Queen Size) freebie with mattress protector n a pair of pillow.. then i tink the last promo price i saw already shoot up to $2259 (or ard there.. can't rem exactly).. binzz.. u know.. too bad u guys didn't get to see how contented and satisfied my mother was.. her face ah.. i tell u.. almost impossible to reject her joy of having the simmons.. she jus loves it so much n almost dun wanna leave the bed in the IMM showroom.. hahahaa.. ok la.. she loves it so much.. i jus get that for her loh.. cos we been tested quite a lot of others.. nvr see her so satisfied loh.. finally she picked her choice..

hi binzz.. i bought the simmons beautyrest tribute for mama n myself.. i'd say.. better to physically try out on all brands n models that u come across.. compare them.. best is to try out after work.. with a tired body.. lying on the mattress for at least 5-10mins.. toss n turn.. if u know wat position u usually hv then try tat sleeping position for at least 5mins.. ask ur partner to on it.. (is to test whether u can stand the disturbance frm the movements).. if u n ur partner really loves a particular 1 after all the comparing.. then tat is YOUR mattress liao loh.. hee

yes...will b keeping it... cos is convenient for us... esp we shortie... but my fren yest nite pointed out that if w/m putting below it.. may hit ur head if careless.. cos now c frm foto can't determine how tall is that hanger or will it really hit the head.. will c how again after got the keys.. yup.. i'll let u know when i got my drawings..

mm.. ventilation fan has the noise la.. but i'd rather endure the noise than the hot n humid env when bathing.. for the windows.. my fren in bk panjang.. also hv tis full height windows in their 5rm.. but without the grills.. it is so nice leh.. n v safe leh.. i tried to bang the windows.. v sturdy leh..

ID told me tat HDB has tis new rule.. it is NOT allow to modify or hack anything on the windows, incl the grills.. some of his clients in tanglin halt (the recent site released).. they wanted to take away the window grills (the jail bar).. but cannot.. there are other cases wanted to change the sliding windows to casement windows.. also cannot... so neighbours... we hv to live with the jail bars... n oh ya.. ID said can't install ventilation fan for me.. cos also HDB not allowed... !!

oh! hahahaha.. thanks! but i tink i'll jus ask my dad to do it for me.. actually.. if 10yrs ago.. i'd jus ask help frm my dad.. my current place 99% done up by my dad.. floor, walls, kitchen work counter, aircon installation, water pippings, electrical cablings, everything all done by himself.. i went shopping for tiles with him before.. we cash n carry take taxi.. hahahaa.. but now he's old already so 不要他辛苦 loh.. but i guess 2 small ventilation fan shld b small case to him la.. no heavy stuffs mah..

yes, for that corian range (similar price as LG one) r lower grade, n arcylic content not as much for wat i heard.. if to compare the same grade n quality.. probably corian wil not b affordable liao.. tis is wat my colleague told me la.. but anyway.. i hv asked ID to check out the price for me le.. will wait n see how.. for last time i ask him if i change to corian.. wat is the price diff.. he said 600+ to top up.. but didn't ask him wat grade la.. (as in how much arcylic content compare to the original Bellus he quoted me).. so when he checked out the LG for me shall find out more frm him again..

i tink shldn't b a problem.. as long as there's an opening for it.. like inside a cabinate or something like a "door" for it...

ya i know staron, in fact, i've checked out stile's quartz, dupont corian, LG hi-mac, n samsung staron before.. LG now hv a new range i tink.. dunno wat volcano something.. i read something abt lavastone(not frm LG, but read on this material i mean).. but is even much more expensive than solid surface in general regardless of brands.. hehehee.. for the LG new range i hv yet to check it out la.. but i hv a fren previously in renovation industry.. now my colleague la.. he's profession in the finance dept.. he recomm me LG solid surface cos he personally used tat in his new place.. now coming to a "2nd anniversary" of his lovenest liao.. haha.. their kitchen has high usage yet the LG solid top still looking s beautiful s new.. he has preferred LG over other brands for many yrs already.. n tis time when he got his own place he said it has proven his preference is a v right choice loh.. n he told me to get white top.. cos dark top esp black ones r more headache than white ones.. he said thou many ppl said white surface may scare later turn yellowish.. he told me not to worry for tat.. i also ... it is still in a dilemma to get wat colors yet.. but his vote on LG.. i'm quite convinced thou..

mm.. sounds like my list of to-dos leh.. really depends on materials u choose loh.. it is a great diff if using post-form or solid surface for your kitchen countertop.. like wise to use laminates or homos... etc.. for me.. attentively 23k+... but cos i'm asking to change rooms from laminates to homos.. not sure how much to top up.. n also cos not doing top cabinate abv washing area liao.. tinking will it be able to offset the cost to change frm local brand solid surface to LG solid surface.. etc..

mm.. quite like the kitchen scheme he showed me.. but quite a lot of changes here n there.. hv a gd discussion at his place n clear quite lot of doubts.. 1) he can't install the ventilation fan for me.. cos HDB not allow... 2) has asked him to remove the w/m & fridge base.. cos find it hard to pull out for cleaning or hard to change new one in case it spoil... 3) told him abt the hanger tat we hv.. will b doing L-shape counter in the kitchen.. n basin side can't hv top cabinate liao.. will only hv 1 side top cabinate abv the cooking area.. there r more designs need him to change.. will wait for his email for my drawings..
