hahahaa... jasch.. we hv similar taste i guess.. both of us favors modern feel.. n ya.. i'm not sure which side is the front or back of wall to u la.. anyway my sliding door is on the main circuit board tat side along the foyer.. ID said anyway we hv the floor's skirting.. so no matter w/ or w/o that circuit board (which not really so much thicker than the skirting) he still gotta leave some allowance (or gap) for the sliding door.. so the main circuit board shouldn't be any issue or obstacle to the sliding door.. happy & jasch.. if wanna go my house.. pm me your contact.. but this weekend.. sat or sun may gg for some shopping.. still hunting for my bedframe (i'm actually looking for a platform bed between $500-700.. any lobang?).. n also gotta shop for ROM gift, xmas xchange gift.. etc.. *i'm so broke*

gadgetgal, hehe.. 太看得起我了... i'm 1st time doing renov n dunno exactly what should do 1st n next.. but let me try to recall the sequence of wat my ID planned n did in real... 1) lay SCV points across the room.. on the floor.. cos later can b cover up by the flooring.. 2) then HDB did the cement screeding in my room.. 3) tiling of homos in rest of the areas.. 4) kitchen cabinet base 5) aircon men do the laying of pippings, etc.. 6) citygas install the gas pippings n connect n install the water heater 7) painting of walls 8) tat's all as of yest.. hahaha.. Hi Cindy.. my unit has very very little sunshine in the afternoon.. at most the sun can only shine in abt 1 foot loh.. not really warm.. if u wanna feel it.. can arrange for 1 of the weekend afternoon to go up my place..

hi jasch! sorry for my slow reply.. erm.. to me.. modern look would hv less woody feel.. depend wat kind of modern u like.. for a contemporary touch.. light wood/laminates n simple cuttings on all carpentry.. for a futuristic feel.. can drop all the wood designs.. n go for materials like rubber/plastic/acrylic/glass/metal.. but keep the color uniform n clean.. the most common ones could be all white theme or black theme.. mm... actually no pro in interior designs la.. jus wat i thought only.. haha..

oh tis 1 i know... but both hubby n me dun tink it is time to buy full hd yet.. since tv signals r not fully hd n is not really established in sg yet.. unless we can get jap's quality network.. then more worth it to get full hd.. haha.. we're still quite far frm it yet.. wait for a longer while.. by then full hd prices will drop a lot as well! haha..

1postwonder.. i'm not sure on installment.. i did full settlement by VISA yesterday.. for the 32" samsung at $899 was cash n carry.. my colleague bought 1 n loaded on my little jazz.. cindy, mine has free 3yrs warranty.. the sales asked me to top up $300 for another 2 yrs warranty to make it a 5yrs... hubby said no need.. so ours only 3yrs warranty.. but cos hubby only favors sony.. so... other offers.... sigh.. is not offer to him anymore.. brand-conscious him.. quite silly actually .. but ok la.. my dad also favors sony.. so i guess will b happy for every1 in my family i guess.. so consider a v gd deal to me le.. haha.. silly me also..
