Are there any more detailed reviews for this contractor?

I would like to know too. Many contractors said they will tag on to a HDB approved company. Is this considered legal?

Hi, Basically need the place done up. Flooring, painting, kitchen, sink, some electrical points, lights and fan electricals, dismantle existing kitchen cabinet, existing sink, doors, windows, etc Need new kitchen cabinet and possibly a simple door to mark out a storage space in one of the rooms I think I will still need a overall contractor to coordinate everything.

How to report this to HDB? im a buyer and found water seepage at kitchen area during the inspection, but not very big patch how will the seller pay the costs? Means we gotta fix it together with the upstairs unit, then send the bill to previous owner?

What are the questions I should ask the previous owner when inspecting resale flat? It may be one of last chance to ask before they don't bother anything after the sale is completed. For example, all I can think of is: When was last time they did the reno? Electrical wiring for house is how old? (so i can decide if need to rewire everything) Did they do the installation thing for fibre when OpenNet offered wire for free? Maybe also ask about aircon and gas piping for Citygas? Appreciate if experienced flat buyers can contribute their ideas? Thanks!

After CNY means we should engage the contractor after CNY, or engage contractor now and do after CNY? If we discuss with contractor now (pre-CNY), will they be too busy to really concentrate on your project since they are rushing many other pple's projects?
