After 16 Days of renovation... So far so good! All 45 deg mitre joint. Alignment for the drain pipe in level one toilet. Waterproofing not done yet. Master toilet. Love the tiles.. Shelving beside the vanity top. Tiler very good worksmanship! Shelving at common toilet, using marble effect tiles. This hole at common toilet is for the storage heater. The angle is to increase the walking space.

Noted. Thanx deviansyh. Yap, that's my main concern of built-in driver. Understand from light supplier, LED will not spoilt (it just a piece of glass). Since driver is electronic part, chances of the driver spoilt is there. I used electronic ballast before, burn 3-4 times a year. That's why now I am more particular of electronic parts. If buy a LED with built-in driver, spoilt already got to replace the whole unit, cost will be higher. Alternative, buy additional few spares to keep.

45 deg mitre joint required more time to cut the 45 deg. The joint in neater and nicer. Special request to my ID since we spent so much on our renovation. On top of that, I prepare ang pow for ID & tiler when he start work and buy him lunch and kopi..

Hi ashleyspace, we bought Elkay sink (650 x 450 x height approx 220mm) @ $280: (Heard that Elkay is market leader for stainless steel sink) from Poo Joo. We also bought one pice WC from them too. Their price also quite reasonable. U can go to my T-blog to see the list of item we purchased from them. Btw, Poo Joo also sell Grohe shower set. We purchased a rain shower from them @ $380. Our shower set and mixer taps are Grohe. We purchase from interior affair during sales. I compare the price during sales and normal mixer tap, only slightly higher. Worth buying during interior affair sale.

Today went down to meet ID and tiler to discuss on some dimension. Keep hearing ID and tiler discuss how to do to have 漂亮收口 for the tiling work. Will share more photos on those 收口.. Kitchen tiles are up. Those small plastic piece are to leave small and uniform gaps between tiles. I asked tiler, how come the opening of the rubbish chute so small nia? His reply, to ensure a flat surface and uniform gap. He will enlarge the opening when tiles are dry. Tiler is very detail in his work. Asked him how come the three tiles (right side of the photo) are shorter than the rest? His reply, to leave space for wall to be erect. By putting the wires between hollow blocks is to strengthen the wall. View from master toilet. View from common toilet.

Staircase railings are removed and steps are cover up with wooden sheet. Tiles are up for level one toilet. So far I am quite satisfied with the worksmanship. Special request for 45 deg mitre joint. Close up of 45 deg mitre joint. Tiles are nicely done up even in tight corners.

Bro Rover, nice and cosy house! Notice u have cove light and down light in the kitchen. Wondering will it be bright if only turn on down light? By the way, what type of light and wattage u are using? Beside the cove lighting effect at the mirror area, do u have any ceiling light at the toilet basin area? Thanx in advance..
