Sama.. mine started in mid Jan.. ID suppose to handover in end Mar, not 10 Apr. I am there almost everyday to see the job. And I have spotted quite a few mistakes which I immediate infirm ID and ask the sub-con to rectify. Sometime once the things is done or installed, more delay or damage will occur if need to modify. Wish u a smooth renovation..

This happen to my glass door (suppose to be sliding door, the do swing door) at my level one toilet. Lucky I was there and notice the error, I immediately ask sub-con not to install and call ID. If not, once install sub-con gonna come remove and replace, tiler will also have to come to replace damage tiles. I think it's too many renovation job in the market liao, everyone is rushing to complete. My plumber came to tighten some leaking unions at 7 in the evening (happen I met as I am about to leave the unit). i told him my house got no light, he say nevermind, he use his HP (iLight function). I asked him how to see? He say can lah.. End up, the union is still leaking.. I will ask ID to invite him back again..

It's weekend.. Spikedoll, happy cleaning up and unpacking ur stuff. Got time then go shopping for furniture lor.. Some items can order from Taobao too.

Bro rockyAtRenotalk, u can consider some carpentry work or false ceiling to hide the trunking if u really Buay Tahan. Most of my trunking is hide this way through discussion with ID and Aircon specialist. But I quite kiasi..most of my hide trunking is able to access (incase of sweating and leaking) without much damage. I also request to do open panel in carpentry (where trunking is hide) incase I need to access the trunking.. Kiasu Singaporean.. U mean to do a sliding glass door (to cover up the big space shown in he left side of photo) to separate the whole living area? So that u can have Aircon in living area? Think it will be very nice and class if u can have one big piece of glass sliding door. And sliding to the right side where the partition is. Hmm.. dunno is it possible and the cost might be very high as too big piece, glass sub-con will quote high to cover the risk of breaking during transportation. Btw, we have a "hobbit" toilet in level one too.

After 68 days of renovation... Kitchen cabinet. A bit not smooth on the lifting and closing of Hafele lifting mechanism, will check with Hafele salesperson for advice. Breakfast cum bar counter. Finally, Mr Plumber is here... Our Grohe rainshower set. Common toilet. Mr plumber say he will check to ensure no leaking before he leave today.. Well.. gonna keep my finger cross. Look at the space on the right.. If toilet bowl can shift a bit to right, then our vanity can do bigger liao. Joven 35L storage heater is sitting in the common toilet. Today also meet ID to discuss the position of our downlights... Looking forward to see more things this week and our handover next week. Aluminum grills worker only came this evening, so don't have the chance to take photo yet...

Thanx ongcs. I learnt some new things today. My LAN point, phone point and electrical point at level one will hide inside my TV console. My TV will be wall-mount and all wires are hide inside the feature wall. Guess I can only place my Singtel MIO box with a router on the TV console as we did not planned any shelve on the feature wall. With this configuration, my level one should able to get wireless access, correct? As for my level two, I need to either another router or repeater to put it inside our master bedroom, then level two able to get wireless access, tio boh? Paiseh.. This student very 麻烦.. Yalor, my current place is 2 in 1 aka broadband & telephone line package and I am using cordless phone and place it beside the TV. Modem inside master bedroom. Ok, nowI know why phone got interferences le.. Thanx.. Thanx..

If I place the Singtel MIO box (modem) on the TV console, get a router and place it beside the Singtel MIO box (modem), will my signal at level one get better? Err... Think I will have phone access to my MIO wor, can it be done? My current place, Singtel MIO box in my master bedroom wired to LAN point. My phone in living room on TV console wired to phone point, but some times can get some interferences. Hmm.. Is it normal? Will the TV signal affect the wifi signal huh? Paiseh..Paiseh.. Ask so many question. What is Hot plug connection? My level two walkway no LAN point.. Hmm.. For level two, should I get another router or wireless repeater to put in my master bedroom?
