i think they should seriously consider in hiring a person for incharge of the logistic and scheduling for delievery

my delievery date should be on the 29 AUG, actually i prepare to call them tomorrow to check my status but who knows i got a call from kenny saying that my shipping may arrived on the 25Aug tell me if i can delay the delievery to 1 week later because he suspect that my furniture may not be able to reach their warehouse before 29Aug. Actually i am quite surprise that they will call me instead of me chasing them, so i decide not to argue with them first and lets wait what will happened after 1 week later first since my reno have not ready as well.

I totally agree with GnM ..... their quote will varies with different ppl. Intially my quote was done my a contractor and later my project change to another person to take charge, than realise the later guy every little things also one to charge me, even things that the previous contractor already agree to give it to me So i am not very happy with the later guy and in the end i requested to change the person in charge to the first person who gave my the quote

Hi oonik, Ya i agree with you tt we should be more cautious in choosing an ID/firm, because it involve in alot of $$ and most importance we are the one who will be staying inside the flat for long. Before i have decided on any ID i have actually went to ask for quotations from more than 10 over reno companys regardless they are the famous ones or not, and visited alot of showflats by different ID, some are cheap but poor workmanship, some are ex and calculative but their workmanship is ok and worse of all some really have attitude problem. But why i choose my ID firm because so far i feel my ID is able to meet the things we want @ our budget and most importance is he is not so calculative and willing to add on any addition things like changing of points and some extra inch of carpentry with no addtional cost during the reno. But of cos throughout the renovation now i have also encounter some problems but at less the ID is willing to help me solve problems and not push the blame away....... (This is only my 2 cents worth of comments )

Which paint is better is difficult to gauge actually, but i use supreme 3 in 1 for bedrooms and pentalite for living room. Wall in living room not even so cannot use supreme 3 in 1 as it is glossy type, so have to use pentalite (matt) to hide .

Thanks swatdila, Becos i read from the user guide as it is stated tt we should "turned off the ignition switch and gas supply after use." But since most of you dun turn it off so i think it should be safe to leave on

hi all, Just want to check with those of you who installed the rinnai gas heater. Do you close the ignition switch and gas supply after finish using the heater? cos i find it really troublesome if we really need to go the kitchen to off/on the supply daily

hi stapler, Saw the pics on level up the slope at the bay windows looks nice. But my contractor tried applying the permit to level up the slope at the bay windows but kanna rejected by hdb, think is due to some satefy issue as well. So i have ask around a few contractors, the ans given is the same lor. So the final concussion is the contractors can go ahead on level up the slope for me without the permit, but in the future if i want to sell the flat i got hack the whole thing back to it original shape before the hdb ppl come for inspection lor

Hi, My mom place and grandmom place were all renovated by tong hong. I can say tt their workmanship is one of the good one which i c so far, but their prices are on the high side compared to others and heard from my mom, the boss seem to be a little difficult to ask for any freebies or discount.
