Hi Linda, Nice contrast of colours you have for your ceiling! Feels like looking up into the dark sky! My sofa demi is to be custom made to 3 seater and ottoman. The salesman, Ben told me that we could choose the firmness of the foam.. so I choose the less firm foam. Can even select the type of steel legs (polished or hairline finish). Yes the other models I tried the back is too low, not comfy to lay back. The coris does not have underground parking but our neighbours, Aspella and Atrina have. Coris window is full height in the living room and 3/4 in the other 2 bedrooms. Yes I love the windows! No problem! You're welcome! Been looking around for cube shaped stools to put in the living room near the shoe cabinet so can sit down and wear shoes. Greycat, the cubes you bought from barang barang what material is it??

For those downlights they use energy saving bulbs which has 2 effect 1) Warm & 2) Daylight. Daylight is those very white lights. Warm lights are not so white but they are not too yellow. You can go to those DIY shop where they show samples of the light bulbs to see. Halogen lights are those really yellow spot lights which are very warm. Not good for reading. If u do a lot of reading, its better to use daylight. For me, my study room uses daylight. As for living room, I want it cosy so I use warm light. Actually the ceiling and lighting design is from my ID. I just follow their design cos they are the professional in this area.

Should be around 5 inch. I'm using warm lights in the living room The cove is about 6.3m in length and I'm using 4 no. of fluoroscent tube. The downlights are 2x18W. I also have 4 nos of halogen lights but they are not lighted yet. In the pic that I posted, only the cove light and the PLC lights are on and the whole living room is very bright. If u scared not bright enough, use lights with higher watts. Warm lights makes the room more cosy.. So your demi is the one in their showroom.. Saw it at the south bridge road branch. Mine is a 3 seater plus ottoman. I chose black colour fabric.. nice fabric they got!

Hi Greycat, dun know how to describe the ceiling. Basically, the fluoroscent tubes throws out light from one side, towards the TV feature wall side, so I dun think can see the tubes from that angle. See the below closeup pic. I like this type of ceiling cos I prefer "indirect" lighting. More soothing cos the light dun shine directly at you. No problem. U can ask as many questions, so long I know, I will answer. This forum is meant for sharing right? Oh yes.. we bought some similar items.. that shows we have same taste You demi sofa is L shape or 3 seater? I love the sofas at Evov. Like the clean cut design!

Yes I got the oven, your previous rinnai model. Was delivered to my place last Sat. Yes the door is more firm. Your teka oven looks very nice too. Went to teka showroom to see before but all their prices are above my budget. Hope your oven works well for you. Saw your pics on the kitchen and bathroom accesorries. Seems like you are going on squarish design. Nice! My kitchen and bathroom accesorries also squarish deisgn.. Linda, Have you checked Evov Living for their sofas? They have got some nice design.. quite similar the pics u posted earlier.. I got my sofa there.

My Q no was 50 plus. Reached HDB around 7 plus when I saw the news.. Bluberi, did u get your flat in the Nov06 WIS too?? If whole room is in Lavender Mist, it will be very dark. Mine only 1 side of the room is in Lavender mist where the headboard is to be placed. The other sides is a lighter tone.. think its natural cane colour.
-
I think its a popular colour... many people also choose this colour. Actually all the colours are suggested by my ID. I jus follow her suggestions!
-
No lah.. jus a cute pic that i came across.. Nope not installing grilles for the time being.. It spoils the beauty of a floor to ceiling windows... Next time have children then have to install..

The renovation has been progressing well. 80% of the lights are up and 50% of the wall painted. Most of the kitchen appliance and bathroom accessories have been delivered. Minor hipcups is the delay in the delivery of the cuizino oven. They keep telling me stock haven arrive yet and can't confirm when it will arrive. In the end I change for rinnai oven and top up some money.. Black glass hob Chimney hood Double bowl sink Lights **** room Lights at Dining area Cont'd Yard window up and gas heater installed MBR wall painted in Lavendar Mist colour Bedroom 2 wall painted (Can't remember the colour name) More pictures coming up next week when the carpentry starts...
-
Thanks for sharing anyway.. My Cuizino oven delivery is delayed again and again... So I no choice have to change model. Was curious about the price of the rinnai oven. But time is short, so I went back to the same shop to change to the rinnai model and top up some $. Hope the rinnai oven is good..

Hi Linda, How much did you pay for the oven?

Does raindance shower requires a lot of water? Cos the free gas heater is the small capacity one.. Hi Lifestyle, I'm looking forward to the finished product too. Yes she's good. Jus from looking at the B&W sketches of the carpentry works can tell. But then she's super super busy.. hope the coordination goes well.. My theme is modern. Living Room likely to be black and white or some schemes with contrast. This week will be selecting the colours of the cabinet. Haven't really have an idea what colours I want. Will jus depend on Angeline's professional views..
-
oh.. hope they do a good job on the rectification. My friend has been using the citygas FOC heater for more than 4 years. So far no adverse comments from her. So should be ok lah.. But I heard comments that the capacity is small... meaning if both bathrooms are using hot water at the same time, the water may not be as hot. My thinking is since its free might as well use it first. Chances of using hot water at both bathrooms at the same time is quite low cos only 2 person staying in the flat.. If you have kids or staying with parents then maybe its better to get those bigger storage heater.

When do u intend to move in? My blk most of the people have done their reno already.. My unit is one of few not done up yet. By middle of next month, it would be ready..

-
Wow! The lights looks nice! Especially the dining and bedroom lights. Guess this 2 are the ones contributing to the higher cost.. Seem like I must increase my lighting budget liao..

Thanks for the info guys! I've read good comments about Hong Tar in another forum and many of the residents in my neighbourhood have also got them to do the aircon, some more Hong Tar is recommended by Angeline… so no worries Jus not sure whether to confirm now or later. Ah Guan, check with you… how many lighting points you have? Cos yoir lighting cost seems on the high side..
-
Hey.. need some advice from you guys on aircon... Cos I’ll be checking out Hong Tar this weekend… What’s the diff between Heavy Industries and Mitsubishi Electric? I’m think of getting the Starmex Non-Invertor System 3.. Is this the easy clean type? That time when you confirm with Hong Tar, do you confirm on your 1st visit or much later during the detail design?
