yeap. caroma is available at SIMS. i guess rigel is a good brand just that there is different grade. well, we all know what grade we are getting now can ask HDB to provide something that is same value but differnt brand. maybe it works

hi i done only cement for my feature walls and master toilet. for cement flooring, HDB can do FOC but that is more suitable for laying of laminate or parque on top, cos there is no finishing on top to protect the cement. its advisable to use better quality cement if you intend to use them as flooring and remember to use sealant to protect the floor. as with the nature of cement, they will crack over time. if you like the effects be very nice. otherwise if you doing whole house cement, its best to get more workers so you can complete everything within a day or else it will end up different colour patches. i've only got contact for aircon, electrical, false ceiling. pumpling and carpentry. they might not be the cheapest in town but long lasting workmanship is more important than cheapest price. do PM me if you need any of the contact.

sorri been busy to log in. paid bout 2k to knock down all the walls in my flat. forgot how much the glass panel for the kitcehn liao as its lump sum with the sliding glass door. think should be less than $600 for mounting of TV, usually they will provide. they will ask if u want stand or wall mount. wall mount will include 3rd party installation cost. some even provide stand as will as wall mount installation. if youw ant to mount onto yr feature wall, ensure that the backing of the feature wall, eg wood can take the weight of the TV. i've seen before the whole feature wall collaspe cos the backing cannot take the weight fo the TV. HTH

when it come to contractor and id, best is to know your stuffs or they will "eat" u. never make full payment until work is done and u are happy. pay money liao everything cannot be done or change. not yet pay money everything can be done.

oil based is used more as a ceiler/base coat before actual painting HTH

maybe you should use oil base sealer to paint as base coat before normal paint. this might help. especially with false ceiling.

hi i use a coordinator to oversee everything for me. the wet works and hacking was his contact cos you need a company to apply hacking permit and hold responsible for the wetworks in case something goes wrong wetworks better dun play play for the rest of the works like false ceiling, electrical, carpentery works i have the contact. you can PM me if you are interested.

been looking around for tingkat too. trying my luck from neighbours tat cook but no avail those from neo garden still contains MSG which is not tood good for us as well as the kids. anyone know if its possible to find tingkat that claim to "have" no MSG? cheers

yeap. kitchen wall and floor tiles can be hack. buy why hack when you can overlay them? mine was done overlay and just need to ask the contractor to calculate accurately so you don't have to cut the gate when you overlay. HTH

you can try apply for permit to hack kitchen tiles, they will approve it provided you redo the water proofing membrane. usually people don't hack cos hacking involve more $$$ and time. just overlay will do. most of the guys here overlay the floor. toilet wall can be hack but not floor tiles. do bear in mind overhaul of toilet floor, wall and vanity might set you back min of 4-5k per toilet HTH
