we are installing glass doors for our toilet entrances and the contractor says he only got these two types of locks. 1. GA624 IMAGE more secure as its a horizontal slot type but the sameple i tried is difficult to twist as the knob is too small. 2.GA-622 IMAGE less secure as someone can slip a ruler into the space between the door and the latch and remove the "lock" but lock is easier to twist. me and the wife think that both designs are lacking but would settle for number 2 if have to choose between either one. BUT! it would be good if something like this. easy to twist and secure. but seems like this is only for wooden doors. http://www.bizrice.com/upload/20120410/Round_Bed_Bathroom_Pocket_Door_Lock.jpg soooo.. does anyone know if there are any glass door lock solutions similar to this and where to get it in singapore? maybe got recommendation on which shop in jalan besar carries it? intend to go get it this saturday. so.. any recommendations? thanks in advance!

Is there a difference? Any truth that at home should put sitting one and standing one is just for temple use? We saw one very nice standing one for our new flat and when put at temple to kai guang, the head nun there also didnt say anything. But the mil say if put standing one at home means punishing the goddess and we will not get blessed..anyone with geomancy knowledge can share the truth? Thanks in advance!!

can you post the finalised drawing of the plan that your ID did? We just got my 3 room NG also and we are thinking of the practicality of knocking down the partition between both toilets.. what if you and your visitor both need to use toilet at the same time leh?

A bit of revision to the plan. Decided not to hack the wall for the guest bedroom. Going to use it as a space for storage/ chilling out next to window to drink tea and temp internet cafe/ storage area...

managed to get a 3 room 'R' in tampines with the fiancee from hdb's Sale of Balance Flat Exercise this year! collecting the keys this thursday and so looking forward to our new home! have very low 20k budget so doubtful if can get this to look like our dream home! so thinking of maybe keeping the bedroom wall and using mixed paint cement screed for flooring and just textured painting for bathroom walls. will be using ceiling fan. lighting thinking of using track lights but scared not bright enough(led) or will be too hot if bright enough(halogen) don't like the idea of hidden lizard poo and cockroach eggs so would not be using cove or drop lights. floor plan as below. some pics of the current layout as provided by hdb during the sales exercise.
