I guess laminates are cheaper. I used laminate for bedroom but now changing to resilient flooring..its like wood like & water-proof...Now if my children spill water...no need to panic..haha

RM400 is it? not sure abt JB price but i think mine in SG is ard 110/ft..

Laminates from Germany has the best look & durable grooves. But ALL laminates are not water proof. they will warp with moisture/water. I go expo & see supreme (i think) they put the whole piece in water.. was impressed.. than i check with my ID, he say..1 full piece is not a problem cos all the sides are protected/waxed but when you cut any laminate..it's MDF inside.. water touch..sure spoil. He say use laminates if you want to go for the look & yet save money.. but if you need water proof like in kitchen or if you have pets or children who will spill water etc... use vinyl planks.. suggested those that look like wood. Personally, i went to look at HERF & Galaxy flooring.. they both got 10 - 14 designs i think.. now considering these. Maybe going for galaxy cos the missus like 1 color.

Wooden laminates & vinyl will outgas.. must go check the test certs.. to see if pass CE. but innovar laminates are good, but still diff from HERF or Galaxy flooring. cos no wooden laminates are waterproof. they will eventually warp if its too humid or touch water. I went to see both the HERP & Galaxy flooring. Saw the certs too. Best thing is both got little or no smell. I think my wife will decide based on color for the kid's room.. But price wise.. HERF more ex la.
