  1. suffered another damaged in my pocket today… BURN BABY BURN i'm so putting this metal book case at the foyer area
  2. thanks oldskool! wouldn't have gotten it if not for the discount + i'm desperate!
  3. The foyer looks plain now although i'm loving the dark charcoal grey wall, need to brainstorm some decor ideas! The wall for TV console has been reinforced by the contractor so that we could wall-mount the TV on it (crappy developer didn't construct a concrete wall). The wall was intentionally done with uneven streaks of plastering to give it a raw effect. Time is running out, X'mas is only slightly over a month away… we 'decided' (or rather we are left with no choice) to go for this tv console in walnut color. STRESS STRESS STRESS! THE LINE TV CONSOLE BY NATHAN YONG! Hopefully we are able to take delivery of the tv console before X'MAS! keeping our fingers crossed xxxx There's a discount going on at Grafunkt so hurry up and go place your orders now if you are keen, heard the 20% storewide will end this month
  4. more photo updates: The BOSCH fridge is in: Other views of the marble-top kitchen island: The RELITE fan is installed as well: Btw, would anyone be able to advise me if they are using the RELITE original fan speed control switch or they installed another brand of speed control instead? Any input would be appreciated , thanks!
  5. got an email from BO CONCEPT as well for the preview sale on 1 Nov and headed down last min to place an order for the perfect rug for the walk-in wardrobe area it's long and rectangular and just perfect for the narrow space in the walk-in wardrobe however, the wait for the rug to be delivered is painfully long... it's expected to be delivered after xmas though
  6. finally the marble is up! that's the only good news i get all week...meh.....duh... blah... things are painfully slow and i have been chasing my ID to speed things up as the reno is taking too long... my patience is running out honestly! told him to get this act together and i expect a full clean up of the place before the end of this coming week! we shall see! on a lighter note, i managed to snag some good buys at the LE CRESEUT Sale held a couple of weeks back at Suntec convention centre. The stock pot at $89 The round french oven at $282 (24cm) set of 2 condiments container at $35 the absolutely sweet pink container that i need to have it at $48! total damage was $454 for the loot from LE CRESUSET hehhehe.. pretty satisfied overall !
  7. haha greg, i hope you have ur travel insurance ready since u are heading to Philippines next week. I had an extended vacation in Boracay due to the typhoon... secretly happy actually... was quite an experience i must say!
  8. hey greg, mind sharing where did you get the dining table customised and how much did u pay for it?
  9. hi alfred, i didn't change any of my bathrooms mixer/taps thus no issues with that. The kitchen mixer i think my ID settled it for me.. i gave them the contact where to get the connectors but im not sure if they bought it or the plumber managed to fix it up without the connectors. Will check with them on that. sorry for the late reply as well.. just got back from Boracay cos i was stranded there due to the crazy typhoon! hahahahhaha
  10. the tall boy cabinet with pantry drawers microwave tucked nicely into the cabinet customised a pull-out top with stainless steel front fitted under the steam oven the lights that i bought from tiong bahru is being fitted inside my store-room & laundry room too! looks cute! converted the maid's toilet into a laundry room (since i won't be having a live-in maid), the ID removed the toilet bowl and built a base for the washing machine & dryer
  11. didn't really have chance to snap pics of the almost completed reno-works until yesterday since i had to be there to take delivery of some chairs/stools & waited for the guy from the curtain shop to come down to take on-site measurements. here are some of the pics: finally, the hansgrohe kitchen mixer is being fixed up & it works well! the huge & sleek kitchen sink stove & induction tucked right at the end of the counter-top did you guys noticed the weird uneven white glue looking thing (think its the silicon seal) right under the window frame and in between the wall tile? think i gotta get them to look into it... quite unsightly! i must say the kitchen cabinets are pretty well done... love the matching interiors for the kitchen cabinets fitted with blum hinges & fittings. drawer underneath the stove & induction hob drawer on the kitchen island
  12. welcome to the 50 shades of grey club.. i'm using lotsa grey in my place too! looking forward to your t-blog!
  13. Hi bettarism, as promised, this is the pic that shows the underneath of my kitchen cabinet... hope it helps! Hi Oldskool, thanks for ur compliments! i'm looking forward to the finished product too... been really busy with work & travelling lately to update the t-blog chat. Managed to snap some pics over the weekend though... The kitchen is looking almost completed with the chalkboard laminate door being fixed up...kitchen mixer is still not fixed up though... love how big the sink looks! The brick wall is being painted but still alot of touch up needs to be done... The LED lights are being fixed up too...
  14. still haven't got a chance to access my flickr account to upload more pics .. meanwhile i need all the help i can get for the following ceiling light (preferably LED version with the halogen effect - kinda like spot light effect): has anyone come across this or currently using such lights? would welcome any suggestions on where i could get it... been down to a few shops in balestier and geylang... nothing very close to what i want though. Thanks in advance!
  15. hi bettarism, sorry for the late reply... been out of town for work and haven't been logging in to update. For my suspended kitchen cabinet, the bottom part part is tiled with the floor tile actually.. i snapped a picture to show you but no chance to upload it yet... will upload later if possible... office pc can't access to flickr
  16. haha sorry for late reply.. been very busy lately... hehe u knw im just joking right? im sure alot of ppl are peeping in since im on the ground floor... thanks for ur compliments on my unit! still counting down to completion... alot of outstanding issues to handle
  17. hmm.. i think my ID will install for me as part of the plan... cos i already specified that i need to install ventilation fans initially.
  18. things are moving at a faster pace now.. alot of decisions to be made.. alot of nitty gritty things to take care of... wish i could leave office now hahaha so my dilemma on whether to keep the top of the wardrobe boxed-up had come to a conclusion... ID confirmed that they can't removed the panel so means i have no choice to keep it boxed up. so just move on... next, deciding which ventilating fan to use for the bathrooms... as my unit is on the ground floor, the downside is that i won't be able to open up the windows cos people will be able to peep in! so the solution will be to install ceiling mount ventilating fan on my false ceiling in the bathroom. ID proposed to me to use this model from KDK ~ 20CQT1 I checked the website and the recommended retail price is $55 excluding GST... ID quoted a price higher thus i decided to outsource it and managed to get it at $59 nett inclusive of delivery small savings on 2 units but still savings right?
