    The customized outdoor table was being delivered to the apartment today but unfortunately, i was informed (yesterday) that the color of the table was wrong. I originally ordered the table to be in walnut color but instead it came as natural teak color. The shop's owner was kind enough to redo another piece for me, however the replacement table will only arrive on 3 January. Meanwhile, i get to use the current table till the replacement piece arrives in S'pore. Here's how it looks like:- The correct color should be the middle one: the table measures 2300cm (length) x 80cm (width) x 75cm (height) and this should be perfect for a party of 8 pax i think. so what's missing now are the chairs i ordered from taobao… praying hard it will arrive on time… time is running out!

    meanwhile, more stuff are being fixed up at the apartment besides the madness from unpacking and shifting of more stuff from the bf's place to the new apartment. we have always wanted a digital door lock and in my previous post many months back, we have set our eyes upon the Gateman S10. Fixed up the appointment with Interlock to come over to do the installation on saturday. i would say that the uncle doing the installation wasn't careful enough i guess… he damaged a portion of the door frame and did a poor attempt to stick it back and cover it up with black paste-like paint. Luckily, my contractor said he will help me to do a touch up another day to make it look better. Pretty happy with the new digital lock nonetheless… hassle-free & one less key to carry! Convenience at just $349, cheaper than what i originally saw from another shop in IMM

    The shelves are a little bare.. need more decor items On the other hand, the bar counter is starting to get crowded... Little decorative knick-knacks that is just perfect for Xmas The bedside table that i have been thinking of getting... wonder if it will look good in the room?

    GOOD NEWS! The guy from Grafunkt came over to my apt today and decided to replace a new TV console for me! YAY! Looks like they brought a new piece of console along and did the exchange immediately after assessing the condition of my current piece. Pretty happy about it actually.. thumbs up to the lady from their Parkmall branch who helped me to arranged for it urgently. Happy days! Pending stuffs:- 1. Gas turn-on by Citygas which have been scheduled for tomorrow afternoon.. hopefully no more leak and the gas meter can be fixed smoothly.. praying hard! 2. Sofa & rug from BO is finally going to be delivered next tues and I'm so looking forward to it! 3. Outdoor dining table suppose to arrive spore on 14dec.. hope it's on time too!

    pics snapped just now at the apartment: tv console is in (although some defect spotted, hope will be able to get an exchange) the very bare living room, temporary using my lounger for patio inside the apt.. not forgetting my candy color poufs!

    thanks! will pm you the contact for the curtains & blinds and yes.. they are all done by the same company as for blinds in bathroom, i think they look good & classy .. go for the PVC ones as they are water repellent thus easier to maintain.. i decided to choose pvc venetian as i require the privacy yet i wanna be able to air my bathroom when I'm not using (bearing in mind I'm on the ground floor) … if i had choose rollerblinds, it would be cheaper but to open my window to air the bathroom , i would need to draw it up.. by doing that i would not be able to have the privacy… go for it if you like it.. think the results are worth it

    How suay can one get? The tv console was delivered 20mins ago but my mum only realized that there's a 'defect' after the delivery guys left... Sigh Tried calling the shop to see if the delivery guys could make a trip back and obviously the answer is no... Anyway the girl from the shop told me to send her a picture and she will check with the mgmt and revert back to me latest by tomorrow... Let's hope they gonna do a replacement for me ASAP .... Super sianzzzzzz

    i think in your case cos your apartment is a resale unit... where as my unit is a brand new unit.. thus i think should "blame" it entirely on my contractor hahahaha... anyway i hope they can solve it asap without much problem... getting rather upset with all the delays....
