For us we already have a rough idea of our design then later slowly slowly we start to tell him our idea (from the living hall then to room/kitchen/etc)... then also the material (the type of flooring) we wan to use then later a few days later we got the quote from him already.....

okie .. ya i think spotlight should have too ...yest we went tanjong katong complex then saw that they have ready made one ...(half lenght gg got $48 .. ) .. material also not bad too .... will go spotlight n take a look then see how .... thanksss

Hmmm my hubby n me felt that our contractor is quite good le... pple been telling us we are renovating so many thing then our reno cost counted as not so "expensive" type. Then when we went to source for our lighting/basin/aircon/etc.. he actually called us to go outisde n see then later tell him then he will see wether he can get it cheap or not then turn out all cheaper than we found one ..(even when we went to hoe kee he did that too, he buy the thing for us on his behalf n he got discount too... althot pple been saying that he sure got comm one but we were thinking sinic he can get it cheaper than what we find then its still okie to let him earn comm lor...) Even went we told him we dunno where to buy those designer switch. he even offer to buy for us ... (my fren was saying the price he quoted us is cheaper by what she saw ...) kekeee my contractor is acton design lor... if u wan the no. u pm me then i will reply u okie....

Hmmm maybe u can try finding a contractor instead of an ID if u already have in mind of the reno .... cos we compare the price btw an ID n contractor and found that the price really diff alot...

hi mine is a 5yrs old resale 4 rm flat .. we spent abt $32K++ on our reno (excluding aircon/basin/sink etc)... Our reno cost this price bcos we have having some extra item, if not should be ard $26-28k like that ... we are having marble flooring for our living room n we have adding a platform cozy area and building another false wall with laminating wood (n in the midle of the wall, we will have our LCD inside then the LCD can actually turn 360degree so we can see the TV from the cozy area or the living hall) .. Felt that our contractor is very good as some items he actually do it for us FOC .... Hmm sorri i dun have the soft copy of the quotation ....

Hi all, Anyone know which brand offer good good n cheap cheap system 2 aircon ?? Cos we already spent alot on reno n some elect item so was thinking to save on aircon .... actualli we seldom on aircon one... our current place one i think we onli on ard less than 10 times a year... (sometime juz on it for abt 15 mins for the sake of running it .....) .. we wanted to have sys 4 in the begining then later thinking of we seldom use so we onli intend to have it in our MBR n my mom's room ... thanks a advance .... kekeee our budget ard $1200 (its best that dun wan those big big old old fashion one ....)

hi all, juz wanna share my experience with euromark... me juz bought 2 lcd/oven/cooker hob n hoob/fridge/wm from them ... i went to the toa payoh branch n was serve by michael ... he's good n we got a very good deal for all the items ...we went there twice, 1st time was serve by another guy n i dun really like his attidute but michael is good ... he's v patient n onli will try to find those items within out bugdet... when we havent really cfm the deal then we need to width/dimension/etc of the oevn etc he actually went online n tried to find for us .... anyone wan the no. can pm me for it okie... me juz wanna share this good place....

ooo my contractor is handling the capentry side for me too .... my kitchen is those long type... ooo actually we intend to install the hood one so the capentry was telling my hubby w/o the cabinet then not nice... but we need the hood leh ...

Hi all, I know that most pple will do the bottom n top kitchen cabinet ... Anyone onli do the bottom kitchen cabinets onli, becos we onli intend to do the bottom cabinets to save $ ... but now our contractor was saying that sinic we intend to install the "hood" then without the top cabinet then will be quite ugly n funny ... Any advice...

hi i juz tried out the cleansing oil after reading so many good comments on it .. but can i ask after using do u all find that your skin colour will become darker abit.. dun know isit i sensitive, i think i did read from somewhere that we cant use the cleansing oil alone as it will darken out skin tone but i did use a cleansing gel (other brand) to wash my face again ....

we doing laminted flooring for our 3 bedroom marble for living room ... then the kitchen n toilet tiles, our contractor called us to find like $2-2.20 one leh .... the cost of hacking n laying tiles for our 2 kitchen is ard $2400... then be4 that we went to find an ID firm (we decided not to use them in the end) and he was quoting like $4200 for 2 toilet using $3 tiles... but does not included hacking but they are overlaying instead .... then still got GST ....
