  3. Good day! I was wondering if you are able to share your ID-Donny's contact as we are also doing up our Y1979 Pt Block in the west side. Thank you in advance!

  4. Hi Phoenix, This is the same mould that grew inside the silicon and have been successfully removed by mold killer. I learnt this tips from our forumers here. All i have to do is spray the infected area, toilet screen, leave it overnight and tomorrow morning, mould is gone. It was so perfect till now .. sobs. Yoongf, i just went to NTUC at Jurong East, Jurong Point, Boon Lay Place but to no avail. Can you please tell me if it is still packaged under the same brand name and design wise is there any changes? You reckon you are able to upload the pic for me? TIA. Does not work for my toilet thought Topspin. Urgh this is very frustrating and major eyesore! What worst is that im having guests sleeping over the weekend!
  5. Hi All, I would appreciate if anyone could tell me where to obtain a bottle or have any spare bottle in their storage to sell me. I have gone to almost everywhere i can think, JB included but im not able to find a single bottle of Duck Mold Killer. I have tried the expensive Clorox, Kao, other KIWI brand, Mr Muscle but it cant remove the black mold within the silicon. Appreciate any help and am willing to pay any amt. TIA. Regards, SAMMIE
  6. I have been in my current job ie job-less since March. I do take up certain adhoc projects. So much more freedom now, the budget given is unlimited. I can idle, work round the clock or leave the country at the slightest sign of stress.
  7. Care to share why you would prefer conventional oven? Any personal experience?
  8. Congrats on your bundle of joy. He is such adorable boy. My girl has flew off to be with my in laws. Enjoying my personal space now.
  9. Use your voucher for something else. Mine isnt brand new but still new. The max ive used was twice. The only catch is you need to come to the west to collect it.
  10. Chunky Monkey is right. I used to own a Brandt and you do not have to use the hot water if your service yard tap isnt equip with one. Currently i am using Fisher and Paykel for my own home. Some of my kitchen and electrical items are bought from Veron, a nice friendly lady who is able to give a very competitive price. She is with Mega @ Katong. HTH.
  11. Sorry for the delay. Morries is going for less than 100 at Mustafa. My gf owned a Cornell Convection & Rotisserie Oven bought at Harvey for $79. Upon checking my store room, i have a cornell too. Let me know if you want as i would appreciate the extra space.
  12. I recalled a friend of mine purchasing a counter top oven for less than $90. Bake cake, cookies and grilled chicken too. Will update soon once im able to reach her and query on the brand.
  13. Lovely dining table. If i had not gotten one myself, this set would be great for my dining. Thanks for sharing.
  14. Big Fat *** Nissan Murano. Dh using his X5. Since im unemployed, strongly considering to get rid of the Fat *** and settle for another B.M.W. - Bus. Mrt. Walk.
  15. Try not to do your laundry over the weekend. As and when possible, try to schedule laundry twice a week. Once in the mid week and another on Friday night or Sat morning. What i normally do is run the washer before i sleep at night every Wed and either transfer to the dryer or hang it out to dry - depending on the weather. Prior to having a laundry day, i can be spending every other night doing laundry and even have my weekend burnt doing laundry. With these laundry day, i just have to plan my at least 3 days in advance. No more rushing and being late in the morning! HTH.
  16. For min 10K excluding installation, it really clean you and your wallet well. It automatically opens the lid, flush and close the seat/lid too. It is an air purifier too - so no matter how smelly your business is once you leaves the seat, it will elimate the odour. If it doesnt aim well it is because you did not navigate it well yourself. It comes with a remote which you can use to motorized the seat, adjust the temperature for seat, enable the massage, adjust the water temperature, cyclone flush, oscillate and adjust the wand position. The only downside is the price. Could easily come to 15K inclusive of installation. Something nice to drool and not until HDB moves my common toilet right infront of my lift lobby i shall stick with Johnson Suisse.
  17. Im falling in love with the colour of your daybed. Care to share where did you obtain it and what colour is it?
  18. Glad that you are now a Brandt Convertee. Do bear in mind if you are not able to cook anything with the oven - just switch on for 15mins at least once a mth to heat up the elements.
  19. Solely B.I.A.S.E.D. No other particular reason. Basically the other brands that we were looking at were mainly 5 digits; Gaggenau ranges and stovetop, Viking, De Dietrich. So since Brandt comes under the arms of De Dietrich, thats how we decide on Brandt. Lowest end of all the products. Sadly Electrolux or its other brand Zanussi was shortlisted. Weird way of deciding on the household appliances but between Dh and myself - the most convincing person and their product shall get to decide. Hehehe.
  20. 20L white paint to whitewash the whole house (min 2 coats of paint) - $52 1 bedroom approximately requires 7L ( 5L X 2 ) - 50ish Kitchen - 5L Dining & Balcony - 5L Yard - 5L We bought some paints from the DIY shop @ Ikea and we were given discount. The rest from NGH which also gave further discount. Total spent inclusive of the painting tools was approximately 380ish.
  21. Brandt! I am being biased here - it is Brandt all the way unless it is a choice between De Dietrich and Brandt.
  22. Mine is FP229XS1. At our other place, we are using FE422XS1. Try to get a few item eg oven, hob, hood etc from one shop as you will be able to bring the price down and they will update you incase there is any current or upcoming promo. HTHs.
  23. Have you make a comparison with the brand "Gateman"? If you have not, then you might want to make a comparison and if you are swayed by it, i will be glad to join in the group purchase.
  24. Fisher and Paykel top load washer and front load dryer. Bought 3 years back both for approximately 2K. Was previously using whirpool and brandt - so far only positive feedback.
  25. We are using the brandt oven and almost every other night i will be whiping out something from it. I was using Baby Belling previously and personally i prefer the outcome of my food with the brandt oven. Oh yeah, im also using the brandt hob, hood and dishwasher! So far so good and hope yours will turn out great too.
