  1. Sorry guys got to meet my ID now and I'm LATE !!! OMG ... Be back later to send you guys my ID contact..
  2. Hi smartgold, the id of mine isn't a personal friend nor a relative as my wife and I planned to scold the **** outta the ID if he did badly. We did not engage our own renovation friends due to this reason too. Many here should have heard of ID doing wrong things, forget things or even MIA-ed during the course of renovation period hence we are prepared for this. Like I said in my very first post that I will give him a 5/5 for his service as he never missed any of my calls/SMSes. Workmanship I can't say much now as currently only the kitchen base, fridge base, svc yard wm base, bathtub, common toilet curb and the hollow blocks wall up. All is good to me. No regrets with no complains till now. Dimension of the bathtub I need check with my wife then get back to you
  3. I will put down my contact too should you need any help on squeezing them.

  4. Hi isaac,

in reply to your 1st msg, my ID charges me 25k for everything.

Yes you can have my electrician contact. and he is working together great with my ID. But on your last question on charges, He got 2 different set. 1 set is by what everyone knows which is per powerpoint, per switch. The other will be one special way which is cheaper imho.

  5. PMed and hope you get a good quote from him If he doesn't give you a good quote, pls let me know and I will <--him
  6. IDs is the head of everything. They are just like Main contractor that received jobs and then pass down to various contractors to get the work done. No jobs is too small for them to reject. Those ID that reject to even do a simple basic quotation, I suggest you just ignore them. Who knows you might find a better one out there. Good luck
  7. Hope everything turns out the way you want it to be at the end of the day. Good luck

  16. Hi all, I'm not a new user in RT but was unable to login my previous username so here I am to register another username to blog on my new nest at punggol arcadia. After months of finding out about how Interior designers works and where to get cheap electrical appliances, I've finally started renovating the flat after leaving it vacant for months even after key collection. Also after researching, I've found out that IDs charges electrical at a very high rate hence I source out an electrician myself to tie up with my ID. I would say the cost is cheaper by at least 30%. OK back to the topic. The ID must be that should be contactable at all times and respond to my needs as I have heard from friends that their ID can't be contacted during the course of renovating or is too busy to even meet up after signing the agreement. I'm glad to have found myself an ID that respond to my calls from time to time asking questions from a reno newbie(Yes ME). Till date he never miss any of my call. The ID I got for my new nest was Kent and he is so hardworking that at the end of every working day, he would call up my wife to report of what have been done for the day and what his contractor will be doing for the following day. I will personally give a 5/5 for his service attitube. Informations of my new home Project : Punggol Arcadia 5rm premium Size : 115sqm Cost from ID (exclude electrical works) : ard 20+ Cost from electrician (Without lightings) : 1.5 I suppose in RT, picture speaks louder than words. so I'm going to post up pictures of my new nest for everyone to judge.
