Hola...its been a while since i check in to renotalk... Too much reading make me a very very stressful person hahaha... Beginning to have a phobia when i listen to the word renovation... As for mine, actually the 10k will b for flooring, kitchen and a false room for my son... Since my flat is under sbf.. Itsntoo late tomopt for floorings..(well thats what the hdb officer said) So u goin for id or contractor? And mind to share where to get the krauss sink??

Hi, I will b getting my keys sumwhere next year.... Im still torn between id and contractor.... Scared tat there will be too many hidden stuffs which i fail to see if engaging an id... I really need recommendations... So far ive received quotes from.. 1) amac design 2) one stop design 3) linewerkz 4) ecela Mine is only a 2 room flat. (1 living room and 1 bedroom) What i need ..... 1) kitchen cabinet with blum drawers...(need space since kitchen is small) 2) partition with sliding door in living room for son 3) laminate flooring (or is there any cheap tile flooring) So far to date these three are the main issue.... There r also case when an id gave me ger quotation and i email her asking the need of haulage service as another id did not indicate haulage svs and i just need to test her in asking if haulage is a must or not...she juz replied.."ok take out haulage service" and no explanation given. So im quite a confuse person here...which to get some pointers.....frm the experience ppl here... Tia.....

Hello...congrats on the new home.... Have to ask on ur contractor...how is his pricing and is well verse in english?? How do u inform him on ur theme? Since normally contractor wont do designings right?? Im contemplating on an id or contractor...will b getting the keys sumwhere next year......

Yah.... Everything are chargeable.... Every small little details are also charged.... Altho contractor are cheaper but like u i prefer to deal with an iD who could oversee everything Whats ur budget like? U wanna gimme ur email so i could forward u the invoices i have?

Hi lot85, Yes yes i will share. So far ive meet quite a number of id's. but the more i meet the more confuse i get.... Some provide haulage service, cleaning whole house etc. Some when i ask and compare they juz took out the mention clause. Will brief more. Will try to upload all the id's quotation here. If possible.... Can diffrentiate and compare. Urs is a bto? Which area? 2 bedroom or 2 room flat? Mine is a 2 room flat. 1 living room and 1 bedroom

With Id 2 : Was charged $9806/- Finally get to met her yesterday, a nice person .... but lack of proper explanation...(maybe due to language barrier) But she seems ok when me decide to cut certain items on the quotations and looks ok with a smaller scale of quotation price. She even willing to include a small partition / hollow board for the kitchen cabinet. Manage to discuss a few more details such as kitchen cabinet drawer etc.. i wanna make sure that all the drawers are Blum drawers... i must make sure its spacious and can fit as many stuffs as possible. we also wanna sliding door for my son. and make sure the partition fits... so far... im quite happy with her drawings... And she did inform us on the reason as to all the bad feeback that they are getting on this renotalk forum. i did quite agree... the problem arise with the id... so half of the fault should be with the ID for not being able to liase with contractor.. and to avoid all that... i prefer to put everythin on paper... ive asked her to put all details into paper.... and not leave anything... we will revise again..... THEN...i receive another email... Anyone used Crescendo before? Any feedback? I received a quotation which is super cheap frm them.....and its under promotional package..... is it safe to lock a promotional package? its almost half of the amount of id..... oh now im back to square 1 hahahaha
