  1. Keen to see yr pic soon. cheers
  2. i like the dressing table, simple, hiding at the corner of the masterbedroom. There is a small opening where i can put all my perfume, and the door above which is able to swing open without the need to remove all items on the table. The bed, 2 double point switch, its located just nicely outside the bedframe. Can't really see the casing. All these was planned by Nick.
  3. I dislike the typical L-shape design. It is very inaccessible to hang the clothes. And commonly after hanging, I would have forgotten abt the dress i bought 6 months ago. There is another option, which is to open 2 doors at the corner where the 2 doors meet. Swing both door outwards, one at a time. it becomes accessible but Nick told me i can see a tiny gap from top to btm. Its the allowance for the door to swing without rubbing against each other. He told me it will look ugly. After much discussion, we decide to proceed with the present design. It looks uniform to me and most importantly, the door is wide enough to easy-access the clothes inside. Its friendly user.
  4. This is my parents bedroom, they need a bigger wardrobe for their things, My ID came out the design for me. very usefull, no waste of space. i will take photo and upload it later.
  5. Thanks for the compliment. The design is actually quite simple but its the simplicity that makes it comfortable. I'm not into colourful, modern floral concept, which tends to make thing too complicated. My ID also agreed to it. He always say this to me when we are selecting the laminate colours," Nice for 1 year, ugly for the next 5 years." Its not a wet & dry kitchen. Actually its part of my living room which i will be displaying my wine.
  6. Thanks for the compliment. Previous owner was Chinese.
  7. My completed dining, completed with a white marble table. With nick's help, we specially selected the pre-cut marble from the factory, going thru different slab of marbles under the hot sun, before we both finally agreed to a selected slab with nice grain. It matches perfectly with the dining light, which is made of white clay, and the floral design underneath, bringing out a white, ivory, cozy English looks.
  8. The transformation starting to take place over the weeks....
  9. haha...maybe u just let him know what is ur budget and let him work out for you. ya, do keep some budget for your furnitures, electrical appliance, lightings, kitchen and toilet staffs.
  10. Wall plastering. Was strongly recommended by Nick to do it. Else all the effort to make good by carpentry and flooring will be wasted if the wall has all those vertical lines and uneven surface, as seen in one of the pic. After 1 night of consideration, we decide to proceed with it. Well, after i seen it, it was really much better. Certainly worth it to heed his advice.
  11. Other ID also quoted me about 80k+, but Nick quoted me 68K after veiwing my hse. between the renovation, we added a quite number of full high cabinets, bigger wardrobes and wall plastering. in the end, the total cost is abt 75k, still cheaper than other company.
  12. Hi, you can call Nicholas @ 96907887. he is recommended by one of my friend too.
  13. Slightly overshot our initial budget, but its still much cheaper than other ID firms that quoted.
  14. Before the 2nd appointment with HDB, Nick brought me to select tiles, lights, toilet accessories. It was a long day, thus we take 2 weekends to select all item. My husband and i went thru' with alot of discussion with Nick to select the styles we want. Nick provide alot of feedback, citing the pros and cons. If the item is not nice, he would Roll his Eyes. Finally, we manage to select the items we ALL agree upon. Its really a long and tiring day......
  15. These are photos before renovation.
  16. These are all the photos before renovation.
  17. We bought a EA at Tampines this Jun. It's our second house and plan to stay for long term. So we decided to do a full renovation for this house. We talked to a few ID and contractors, finally we decided to work with Nicholas for our big project. Our house is 137sqm, the whole reno work took about 3 months to complete. Now we are shifting in to our big, nice dream house this weekend. I have so many stories to share, but let's see the before and after pictures first !
